Why does everybody hate Godzilla? (1998)

Seriously this has made me lose sleep countless nights, I have a hard time understanding this for these reasons:

1. It's Godzilla, I mean c'mon.

2. It's a gigantic thrill ride of a movie that was made by the genius creative team that created the Citizen Kane of our time, Independence Day.

3. It has Jean Reno in it, that's all I have to say.

4. It's Godzilla.

5. Ferris Bueller's in it.

6. The Apache attack sequence.

7. It has 'mini' Godzillas.

8. They blow up Madison Square Garden.

9. Doug Savant's in it.

10. And the number one reason it rules... it shows that Godzilla is so awesome he can have sex with himself.

Those are ten reasons things that clearly show why Godzilla is a spectacular film.

My Review of The X-Files: Resist or Serve (PS2 Version)

The X-Files is a show loved by all sorts of people and it has lasted quite a while and over the times video gamers/watchers have wanted a good X-Files game ''The X-Files Game'' came out to negative results they same went for ''The X-Files'' for the Playstation (which i thought was a good game)but now i say that a good X-Files game has come out and that game is The X-Files Resist or Serve now heres my review

Gameplay:nothing near revolutionary your standard survival horror fare but its well made and sometimes scary (sometimes)

Control:standard RE style controls with camera changes that are very frequent but dont tend to wreck the controls

Graphics:good very dark and atmospheric, gritty, disturbing character models animate fairly well and are quite sharp although enviroments need polish

Sound:well done guns sound good as well as ambient noises

Value:i'd pay $30 for it

Final Opinion:a good solid survival horror with slight lack of polish that will not revoltutionize the genre

My Review of True Crime: Streets of L.A (PS2 Version)

True Crime the supposed game that would beat GTA 3 & Vice City dosen't match up

Gameplay:Okay but the controls take a lot of getting used to, the story mode is pretty weak in some areas, but fun steet crimes that can make you feel like a cop also shootouts and fights are weak

Graphics:photos of L.A cant be wrong as well as the great looking character models and areas

Sound:good, very weak dialouge & one-liners but good voice actors(especially Russell Wong) and sound effects

Value:good but not worth the money with the limited features that are good

Final Word:a game that was trying to beat a blockbuster fell short of the hype

My Review of Rainbow Six 3 (PS2 Version)

Ok let me start by saying this game is so bad its hard for me to comprehend that this made it past inspection it is so messed up graphics suck, gameplay sucks, sounds okay, weapons suck,ai is bad, its just a really bad game oh and the controls really suck

Gameplay:NO i repeat NO replay value bad fights bad AI and overall extremely poor

Graphics:heres the bad part bad explosins, characters, models, buildins, weapons, lighting, vision modes, effects, and weather is that enough?

Control:another bad thing stiff, awkward, rushed, another thing they should have fixed no forward our back movement when straffing

Sound:sub-par, okay explosins,weapon fire,effects,just sub-par

Tilt:none.

Value:already told you

Final Word:get Ghost Recon:Jungle Storm or Socom I or II anything but this

My Review of The Suffering (Xbox Version)

I love this game its great in everyway i know my score is a little high but its really that good heres my review

Gameplay:great atmospheric, engaging, fun that describes this game its all good

Graphics:great for the right player there not bad at all there great some might not like it but there dark, edgy, and very atmospheric in all ways

Control:standard 3rd person shooter controls left stick moves character right stick moves camera/recticule good

Value:very good replay is good considering the multipile endings and different paths

so that sums it ups well what are you waiting for rent it!

My Review of Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance (Xbox Version)

A great game thats weighed down by some control problems and some unusual story points

When i first played MGS:2 it was on the PS2 and I didn't take to it to much having played the first MGS this one seemed odd control-wize and I couldn't play it too well. Then the X-Box version was released and my problems were gone mostly because the X-Box was my primary system so most of the issues were gone.

After having completed the Tanker chapter of the story I was shocked to find out that Snake wasn't even the main character! but I really didn't care because I thought Raiden was a pretty cool character the main reason people didn't like him was mostly because he replaced Snake. As I progressed later on in the story I noticed things were getting weired almost to a science-fiction story level but thats not saying its not good its just Conveluted.
The main gripe I had with this game was the controls they didn't work for me I found them sloppy and unresponsive, now to some people the controls might be fine but I didn't like them.

Now enough with the negative comments on to the good. This game has GREAT GRAPHICS this game looked great 3 years ago when I last played it and boy do they still
look great facial animations and the motion capture is incredible. There is also a absouletly fantastic score by composer Harry-Gregson Williams plus great in-game sound effects from gunfire to great voice-over especially Solid Snake's VO actor David Hayter. The action in the game is very well done also with some very tense moments and good stealth sequences.

Final Thought
------------------
Overall MGS:2 Substance is a great game thats well worth a purchase for any X-Box user who wanted to play MGS:2 and also whoever likes Stealth/Action games in general so what are you waiting for? go play MGS:2 Substance!

Score
-------
Graphics: Great, very good facial animations and motion capture.

Gameplay: Good unfourtunatley you spend more time watching it than playing it but the stories great so who cares.

Sound: Superb soundtrack by Hollywood composer Harry-Gregson Williams and great VO (voice acting) & in-game sound effects.

Value: The game is long and there are multiple things to do so its very worthy of your money.

My Review of Enter The Matrix (Xbox Version)

This game is extremely well done but lacks some polish heres my review

Gameplay:very good although has some rough spots in which it is tedious (driving levels)and also seem to drag a little(chinatown)but very good

Graphics:Great extremely well done faces are very very well done(thank you facial capture)and most movements are well done except moving on ladders and running the fighting has great choreography(thank you motion capture)which were helped by great choreographer Yuen-Wo Ping and very good matrix style effects (bullet ripples, sparks, and wall-walking)

Sound:very good bullet sound good and fighting are also good ambient affects are okay and music is just passable

Value:not very high a rent or a buy depending on your likings if your are a matrix/videogamer person you will love this game (not everyone though)but replay value is semi and fighting agents is just too fun also movie extras and scenes are included i've gotten everything in the game so i know and hacking is cool

Final Word:a great game graphics, sound, and gameplay mostly for matrix fans though a rent or a buy

My Review for Hitman Contracts (PC Version)

now i am a veteran player of the great Hitman series which has been my favorite series for a while, so i eagerly waited for Hitman:Contracts the 3rd game in the series well i got it and was plesantly relieved to find it was a great game like the rest of them heres my review

Gameplay:great if your a fan of series you'll like it even more bet it should appeal to the average gamer with a decent capacity of violence handeling. Its a game where you can do the missions the way you want stealth or violent, slow or fast, are you going to only kill your target or everyone else with him there are different ways of doing the missions some controls you might have to get used to but its great and also the best "Ragdoll" physics i've seen yet

Graphics:beautiful use of Nvida and ATI video cards great bump mapping and animations not to metion the great character models

Sound:very good sound effects and soundtrack and the main character speaking lines are great as well as the dialouge even to the point where foreigners aren't the best at speaking english and using their native language

Value:good game for the price, replay value can be great

Final word:a great game get if you like the series and also if you like stealth/action games in general

My Review of Half-Life 2

Half-Life 2 is THE greatest game to be released in some time

2004. What a great year for gaming we had not one but 3 major game releases: Half-Life 2, Halo 2 and Doom 3 I have purchased all of these games and now that 2004 is over there is one game I keep coming back too...Half-Life 2.

Now dont get me wrong Halo 2 & Doom 3 are great games but personaly I believe that Half-Life 2 surpasses them by leaps and bounds. How should I explain what makes this game so great I could talk about the Graphics...or I could talk about the Sound...but I believe your probably more interested about the Gameplay of this title so here it goes.

Half-Life 2's gameplay is extremely varied there are Driving levels, Shooting levels, Adventure levels, Puzzle levels, there are variations on some of those elements too. Probably one of my favorite aspects of Half-Life 2 is its absolutely marvelous physics system (also to be noted its supposed to be the most advanced at this time) which you'll be having fun with for quite awhile.

The graphics in Half-Life 2 are the best I have ever seen (I know Doom 3 is considered to have the best I dissagree) the character models are absolutely remarkable their faces have the most animations of any other game out their and the bodies have a wide array of movements, they also are powered with the source engine meaning they will ragdoll when they die which is always fun to play around with.

The sound is also top-notch with great VO (voice acting) and sound effects including great ambient noise effects.

Rating Breakdown
-----------------------

Gameplay: [10/10] Great, varied gameplay elements and a spectacular physics system thats an extreme joy to fool around with and a great story.

Graphics: [10/10] Excellent, good use of lighting, remarkable facial animations and body movements and enviroments.

Sound: [10/10] Also great, the dialogue is well performed and entertaining and sometimes funny heres an example "Im a little behind on my beating quota -Barney". The rest of the sound is great also like the ambient effects and other effects.

Value: [10/10] Well worth your money in every way.

Final Verdict
----------------

If you are a fan of shooters, adventure, driving, or the like you'll love this game I give it a perfect 10.0.
