In short yes. EB Games are one of the worst for price. The freight cost argument & population size is bogus. Our games come from the same factory that produces games the other PAL regions but in most cases we pay more for our games.

We're shafted with everything. From electronics to food. It's getting so bad, that I'm seriously considering a move to another country. You can sugar coat things anyway you like. It's business & there's money to be made. So we have to pay too much for everything. Politicians smoke pole when it comes to protecting the consumer.
The 360 still has better depth of field, textures & lighting. I can't understand why Sony is still using blur on their textures like they did with the PS2 with a machine this powerful. Then they over saturate the colours & turn up the brightness to compensate. I thought they would have been on it this time around but it looks like they haven't progressed much further than the last round of comparisons. Both awesome machines but 360 still in front.
As with most things, Australia is nothing more than a politically over policed, redneck, backwater of a place. Paul Keating's referral to Australia as the 'arse end of the world' was never more appropriate in this case. Australia is usually 30 years behind when it comes to the most important issues & I can't see that changing in the near future. Would you trust over paid & under qualified house wives & business men to make these decisions for you? I think not...
Why do forums attract so many angry, petty people. Be grateful that Bungie are releasing Halo 2 on the PC platform at all. Yes there are better games out there, but it certainly won't be the worst you'll play. Give it a go. You won't give a rats arse what it looks like if someone's shooting at you.
