Agree with JohnWinger. I had problem loading the additional maps, but also couldn't load Lockout. Reloaded the expansion maps, and fixed all the problems, including Lockout.
My first 360 was purchased end of April last year. Manufacture date of 02-10-2006. Didn't buy any extended warranty. Started getting 3 red lights of death on September 9. Progressively got worse until only got 3 red lights of death. Out of warranty, until warranty extended in December. Took back to Sam's Club, and replaced with a new one, and a 3-year extended warranty. Still working. Nice to have an extended warranty security blanket now though!
I had a wireless router already. Instead of paying $100 for the 360 wireless adapter, I bought another $40 wireless router, that had the capability to be set up as a wireless bridge to my first router. Used the supplied network cable to connect my 360 to the second router. Works great. Also, I now can hook up to 3 other X-Boxes to the second router for system link parties. More function for a lot less money.
Has anyone repeatedly reported the problem to X-Box.com support, or reported to the BBB? I decided to try sending and issue/complaint to Microsoft, through the Support on www.xbox.com, daily, and see if anything comes from it, or they just ignore me. Also, I did file a complaint with the BBB. Just curious if anyone has gotten anywhere with continual complaints.
Hey, anyone know what it means if the power supply light isn't on at all when the 360 is off? I have noticed mine is off most of the time now. Only see the orange light every once and a while. When I turn the 360 on, light is green, but when I turn it off, the light just goes off. Oh, I should also point out I am having '3 red light' issues. Although I can get my 360 to work sometimes. Very frustrating to have not bought the extended warranty, and mine was manufactured on Feb 1. Bought April 30, started crapping out on my a few weeks ago.
