@Vylsith @de-astroturfer Agreed If you know its always on in the first place (most people wont) you can pretend its off by ferreting deep into the settings but M$ can still turn it back on remotely and you cant turn the microphone off. Still M$ is going to fail hard so It makes no difference but even so I cant stand their relentless lying or sit idly by whilst controlling monopolistic corporations and the NSA create a 1984 style future where our basic human rights to privacy are stamped on and we are treated like we are their property, I really want M$ to go bankrupt

The microphone only listens for the command xbox ON (honest its all very complicated but basically the wires and stuff inside can only understand the word ON until it needs to understand more then it can magically understand everything, so hey just trust us, we've got such a great track record on trust. Oh and don't stop to think why the **** it needs to pass all you've said back to M$ servers apparently only servers are capable of voice recognition)
M$ were forced to comply with the NSA (those government subsidies and tax breaks are totally unrelated)
The xbox one has great games (apparently well worth being shafted and spied on for, despite the fact its key rival is significantly more powerful in nearly every department and is supported, or will be supported by exactly the same developers)

@blackace They will put it back in tho, they just need to sucker in enough customers first and then they'll drip feed it back in and hope no one notices, one small flaw in there little plan tho, xbox one sales are going to be terrible and they've lost the trust, so once PS4 is established there will be no coming back.

@ciphfer So what your saying is its Just for catching terrorists so there is absolutely no corporate interest in American politics, these companies in collusion with the american government dont steal company secrets ect which they promptly patent in the US to maintain their monopolies and political organisations with friends in M$ and the like and inside the intelligence services dont exploit this information to dig dirt on political opponents to shut them up or keep troublesome members of the public and media outlets in check and keep themselves in power, because everyone connected with these ohhh so trustworthy companies and the NSA is an angel sent from heaven.
