Just because it's on the market doesn't mean it's the newest console. So there might be two Microsoft consoles out at one time. They aren't going to be using the Xbox 360 as their main console. That would mean that it would have a 10 year lifespan as being "current gen" that's insane. It'll likely be 7 and that's still a long time.Microsoft have stated that their plan is to keep the 360 on the market until 2015, and there's a big back catalogue of games, plus some support for Xbox Original games, and there's so many good games coming out in the near future, I think the 360 has yet to reach it's apex. :)

Wait for Shank or Plant's VS Zombies. The other ones aren't worth it. Unless you want to pick up LIMBO which I hear is great, but is just a few hours long.
Halo: Reach
Halo: Reach and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit
Okay since I think most RPG's released lately have had poor controllability, art style, and voice acting not to mention believable story, I don't like RPG's. Hmm. There's only one problem with that. I like RPG's. I just don't like the crap they've been dishing out.
Go insert Oblivion and jump up and down in third person view and tell me it's gratifying. The graphics suck. The art is so smudged I can't tell what some things are supposed to be. The zoom in on the faces just show how old the technology was when it was released. The "Oblivion Gate" quests get freakin' annoying...
Then try out Fallout 3. THE RPG of this generation. Crap graphics. Crap animation. Crap design. Go snort the chizzled off remains of my disc and drink it down with suck. Oh yes, RPG's are great this generation.
I'm looking forward to a FUN RPG, is that against the rules Mr. Dungeon Master?
I hope so. I also hope they fixed up the combat. In fact, I'm going to load up Oblivion GOTY now.
I thought it was boring and the ammo system sucked.
Halo: Reach and Medal of Honor
Though I might not get Medal of Honor.
I'll preorder Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit if I get a preorder bonus.
Standard. I don't see why I'd want to junk up my room with a statue of a game I've yet to play. Hell, if I got the Legendary Edition I'd sell the damn thing which would be a monumental waste of money. The limited edition is best to get if you care about all the books/lore. Personally, I just like Halo games. I don't care about how Bungie made it.
