I know, I'm just telling you why your opinion almost never matters. TLOU is 8.0, it's not GOTG, deal with it.

I don't see why it getting a 8.0 stops it from getting GOTG here, Tom mcshea is only one opinion, judging by the videos of other gamespot editors talking about its their game of the year so far.

If it gets the award, then sure he can call it that.

Metacritic is garbage, that's why were on gamespot.

Gamespot scores only count, everything else is damage control.

Don't like, move to metacritic.

5GB is more than enough.

Shewgenja

I remember that battlecry. DVD was "enough" too, but is also the reason the XBox 360 never got MGS4. Guess this gen, the Xpaupers are readying the excuses a bit early.

DVD was enough.

It was the right choice considering how much they would have had to pay at the start of the generation. Also it wasn't like the costs got passed onto the consumer with extra disc games.

All that graph proves is that gamers have played a game on the pc. I'm not a PC gamer but I have played games on my pc before.

Games not being on a console gives the pc an advantage over that console too though. So even though "console exclusive" isn't realy the right term to use there should be a term other than multiplat to distinquish the situation.

i don't think i've ever once seen it used to the pc's advantage.

But it is an advantage that the PC has, whether people see it or use it as one doesn't really matter.

[QUOTE="JamDev"][QUOTE="Krelian-co"]

whats so weird or "hard" about it, if it is on xbox/pc or ps/pc they are multiplats, simple as that

CaseyWegner

What's weird about it is that "multiplat" doesn't convey all the information regarding a game that is available on one console and not others. this board is based on comparing platforms and it seems pointlessly pedantic to disallow a convenient term for describing a game that could influence purchasing decisions or give fanboys ammo for their debates.

one problem is that the forum is called system wars and not console wars. there shouldn't really be a disctinction between consoles and the pc since they're all gaming systems here and the pc counts as much as any console.

Games not being on a console gives the pc an advantage over that console too though. So even though "console exclusive" isn't realy the right term to use there should be a term other than multiplat to distinquish the situation.

[QUOTE="JamDev"] So games that are available on Xbox/PC or PS/PC need to be referred to as multiplats or have the exact platforms they are available for written out in full every time they are referred to? Sounds ludicrous, but hey, System Wars.JamDev

Exactly, most of the time cows just call a multisclusive ( trademark) a multiplat as an attemptĀ  to nullify the advantage that game gives to the overall library.

[QUOTE="freedomfreak"]Console exclusive. Still makes me laugh.CaseyWegner

trying to make multiplats seem exclusive since 2005.

People don't use it that way.

People just use it to point out that Xbox or PS doesn't have a game ( which when it comes to having a better overall library is kind of a big deal).

The term itself is kind of stupid (console exclusive), I've switched to PC/PS4 exclusive.
