Ok I ran everything and all my drives are at DMA. I'm gonna try counterstrike now and see if the stutter is gone or not.
They are in. Lol I meant to say I cleaned the dust out of them as well. I put my entire computer back together. Its the exact same as before. I'm doing a defragment run now and then a check the disk for errors run. It'll hopefully do something positive. I'll post a update when its finished.
Ok so this is what I'm currently doing. Defragmenting my harddrive. Then going to do a error check on the the hard drive. So hopefully something happens. I'll post an update on progress after its done.
So what does defraggler exactly do? I'm kinda wary about downloading now lol. Quick explantion please and thank you? :D! Oh and by the way. I'm not really smart when it comes to this computer stuff. I know most of the basics. Learning as I go so thanks for the help and any future help guys!
Me and my friend have been trying to figure this out for 2 days now. Doesn't make any sense to why it stutters now when before all the games ran perfectly. I even did a video test from the ATI site and it said Ihad alot more then needed to run the games.
Alright well I had to re-install Vista and my drivers because of a corruption that screwed up my entire system making it unusable. This is my story. I installed Windows Vista Ultimate SP 1 and my video card which is an ATI Radeon 4830. Before the crash, games like left 4 dead, dead space, counter strike, guild wars, and time shift worked perfectly. Now after the crash when I reinstalled vista and my video card and all my programs. There seems to be a crazy amount of stuttering in games. I have reinstalledleft 4 dead, counter strike, dead space, and guild wars and nowfor some reason there seems to be a stutter in my games when there was none at all before. Its not just a little stutter every few minutes. Its constant stuttering. Wondering if anyone has an idea of whats going on. Oh and I also fully cleaned my computer from the inside out and got rid of all the dust buildup as well as all my fans.
