Selling the 360 is proving very difficult for Microsoft over in Japan, but their next attempt at shifting more systems is a hugely generous one. They will be releasing a bundle that includes not only Lost Odyssey (the main selling point), but also one that includes Viva Pinata and Forza 2.
The package will be released on the 6th December, with pre-orders now being taken until the 4th. The bundle will come at 39,880 Yen (roughly US $350) and works out 2,000 Yen cheaper than buying the console and Lost Odyssey separately.

It's a pretty sweet deal, and one that also works out 100 Yen cheaper than the PS3 40GB version. Whether or not it will have a great affect on the Japanese market is anyone's guess, but at least Microsoft are offering something very attractive.
Lost Odyssey should be loved in Japan as an ex Square Enix guy is working on the game. Game creator Hironobu Sakaguchi is famous for his works on the Final Fantasy series which, as we all know, are hugely popular in Japan. It's hoped that Japanese gamers will pick up on this and take a punt at the game. We shall see...
