[QUOTE="dedumdedoo"][QUOTE="DanielDust"] I like the game, but I can't play it, it always crashes after about 24 turns in the "world conqueror" or something mode? it has terrible bugs and it's extremely unstable, I was actually glad at some point because I could load my save, that's how broken it was, I couldn't even load saves after I closed the game, because they'd go corrupt and in the campaign it used to crash after every two battles.I still envy people that say it's garbage because of the AI, well they at least managed to actually play it for a while. I'm a huge fan of the TW series, but I'm not going to touch Napoleon after getting Empire at full price and I'm extremely excited about Shogun 2, but dunno, as much as I love the theme I don't want to end up getting a broken mess again, just to have something to gamble on. Hopefully it'll be perfect, just like Medieval 2.DanielDust

Medieval 2 perfect? You can't be serious, that game needed some serious patching before you could call it fun. None of the TW games have ever really been polished, don't expect that to change anytime soon.

Needed, past, yes, Empire is done, they're not doing anything to it anymore. It's perfect, Empire is as broken as it'll ever be.

I can deal with "needing work", but Empire was even incomplete when they released it, it took them almost an year to release the multiplayer campaign and they didn't patch it at all, they just fixed some random things and focused on DLCs.

But Medieval 2 is still broken as well? And they really did patch it;from what it was to what it is, was a pretty decent leap. I'm not saying Empire isn't buggy, I also think it's slightly unfair to compare Medieval 2 with Empire.

So, Empire Total War is on sale atm on steam for 15$ which is a good deal. I simply want to know, I really loved Medieval II: Total War and I always hesitated between Empire and Napoleon. Should I wait for Christmas Sale and see if Napoleon is on sale on steam or somewhere else? Well, in fact, which one is better between Empire and Napoleon? If Napoleon is better, I'll just wait, but if Empire is better, I might pick it up now.

Napoleon is the technically superior version; but in saying that. They both focus on different things. In empire you lead a nation, whereas Napoleon is more about the exploits of the general himself. It really comes down to which you prefer.

[QUOTE="gamer040"]I thought the timeline may have been the key, wasn't sure, I've decided that I'll make my life easier and use the sandbox to try out every award ceremony to discover which genre will debut before the award ceremony to making training for my stars easier and to also raise public interest. Thanks.

I personally play on sandbox, after I unlock most of the things. Good game, you almost made me want to play it again. But I just remembered how frustrating it can be.

[QUOTE="Venom-RIP"]Hello, here is my National basketball association Loss Angeles Lakers team. Please rate it and comment; all suggestions will be apprieciated. Starting Line-up PG - Rajon Rondo - SG - Kobe Bryant SF - Ron Artest PF - Pau Gasol C - Andrew Bynum Bench PG - Derick Fisher - SG - Manu Ginobli SF - Lamar Odem PF - Powell C- DJ. Mbenga Gone 5-0 so far.

Use Rondo to dish assists to Kobe and Gasol as they should be your main point scorers. Your starting 5 is pretty decent, I'm guessing you have trade overide on seeing as you have Rondo. I would trade Ron Artest, depending on your difficulty his shooting is quite streaky and any other expensive players (you can get quite a few young talented players by trading old and weak players). Your team is quite old, so depending on how many seasons you're playing you might find your self without some good scorers unless you mold a rookie or sophomore. Overall it's pretty decent.

I've had the new one, the book not written by Ian, on my shelf for a while. I just haven't got to it yet.
