Just printed it out, cut off the extra stuff and handed it to the cashier. She gave me a Gift Card instead of taking the discount off the items, but that's fine with me.
Oh, and just a warning, your local CC may not accept that because it's a printout and says "no photocopies". But it worked for me. If that doesn't work, just drop by your local post office and grab one of the moving packs they give out for free. should be an actual coupon in there I'm told...

You can find them in the little coupon packs that are at the post office. They're the moving packs I think. I used a print out of one that i got from slickdeals however and they accepted it.

I figure that worst case scenario is the format slowly dies over the next 2-3 years. Even if that happens, I still will have several movies that look great. And as someone else pointed out, I got 6 free movies and only paid $140 for the player. So I basically got the player for the cost of a few movies. Not really a risk at all if you look at it that way.

Have you considered that the game publishers have to make the demos, and that making those demos takes time out of the design process? Would you rather they finish a game and release it or delay the game so they can release a demo 3 months before it comes out? Have you no patience? It sounds like you already know you want AC, so why do you need a demo of an unfinished game? What they did release are demos of games that are already complete. They showed videos of the games that aren't.
I bet you're the same guy who'd come on here complaining about how the demo sucked...if they had released a demo of an unfinished game, aren't you?
