@gamingfan: so what the hell does that even mean? I can tell how dumb of a person you are now.
Does it really matter if you pay $600 upfront or if you pay it over x amount of time... at the end of the day you still had to pay the same amount to buy it.
Maybe they can put you on a contract with consoles and that'll make you feel "happier" since in your mind you would be paying "less"
This is something that should have been done a loooong time ago that would only obviously benefit both companies.
Sometimes you buy a game for the particular system that you have and it has a multiplayer component that dies off quickly and renders the game useless. At least now we will have access to more people to play with.
I can see this benefiting shooters and fighting games the most that have multiplayer.
@red666devil: doesn't matter, at the end of the day you're still standing there in front of a TV like everyone else and playing. That's like someone thinking they are better than someone else because they got their burger at Wendys instead of Burger king.
@red666devil: uhhhh no.... real men play the real guitar and are in actual bands releasing albums, doing tours, making dough and having real fans... Unless you're doing that, you're still playing with a toy at home.
@CatAtomic999: "People say they want something new, but they never, ever do"
Now don't let your head get too big here for what I'm about to say...... I certainly don't ever do this often on gamespot but these are profound words of insight and wisdom. It applies to games as well.
Quite often I have come to realize that what people SAY and what they DO are often times always in conflict with each other. Can also be applied to the dating world as well.
*disclaimer - that doesn't mean I totally agree with people for or against the movie as I haven't seen yet so I'll make my own opinion at a future date ;-)
