From my understanding, Turbines logic came from their MMO Dungeons and Dragons. They made it F2P and revenue went up 50%? (A lot) They decided to take the same approach to LoTRO. I don't think they are having trouble with people not buying it, though.

I'm thinking of getting Titan quest, but I have a question...

1. Is there respeccing (Changing stats once placed)? I will be playing a massive game like this and literally put it down because of how frustrating it can be when you make a crappy character and must scrap him. (Had this issue in Sacred 2)

Well, it seems like its going to be TorchLight.

I just tried the demo to Titan Quest and before I got 1 minute into the game, "Analog input: Entering power save mode". The only way to fix this is to reboot the computer since the screen goes black. (I still have no idea how to fix this).. It only effects a certain number of games, though.

Well I played the demo to Torchlight and think its amazing, but I have also heard Titan Quest is a great game as well. They also seem to both be around 20$, so...

What do you all think I should buy? Titan quest or Torchlight? (Which won't get as stale as fast)

I am curious to see who enjoys listening to music while playing games, and who can't stand having it on while playing.

I will literally go out of my way to buy games that are music compatible. The games must be able to be minimized, multiplayer (Single player has a story and that involves turning down the music to listen to), and not be reliant on in-game sound before I will even consider buying them.

I don't trust microsoft. They tend to be all about the money, and less about the customers.

Sony; however, is huge on customer service, and keeping their player base happy.

I'm sure sony will do fine.
