@tionmedon Dont see how.People will still be buying new releases for the ps3 when the ps4 comes out and then people will trade those games in and the cycle will start again.
@Folkathen Most games that are shown at these shoe are run on pc's and are just usig the psecs of the console they will be sowing up on.If they were to make a pc version they would have to upgrade a redo lot of things ,from what i gather.
Shocker!A high end PC looks better then a 7 year old console. When will people stop making these comparisons? It will only get worse with the graphical leap coming from the next gen consoles.Every argument will go down the the strands of hair on characters on PC and consoles.
I don;t see what all the fuss is about.Makes the games for consoles and then if it get's big enough make a mobile version. It's really that simple developers.Console should always be first to the developers.
@Blazvatan Well they say stats show that people are less likely to buy a game after playing a demo of it.I say that's crap and they just don't want to make demos for their games anymore.
If this where Ubisoft is going to try and go with their products i don't think i can get on board with their strategy. They have something special in Alice, but other then that they are making some bad moves.
@GasparNolasco The people who actually do all the work and not recognized for it.Only people that are leaving are people who think they are to big now(Cliffy B) for the studio.I doubt this guy leaving will have a huge impact.
20 to 30 million games is whole lot just to break even, most games don;t even make that in there shelf life. Most developers are saying that the cost of development will go down, but i don't know about the size of the teams which may go up to do all the new stuff that is possible with the new consoles.let's just hope we don't have major layoffs next gen.
