@bakula: It seems to me that's someone else got it hard in the ass at a level he can't even read and understand... i even wrote "good for you" if you like, i don't give it a 5, i give it a 6 maybe a 7, it's just not an awesome AAA game.
@santinegrete: I really like Souls games! As i said in another post, it all depends on which way the Devs decide to offer the story to us and they never chose to use certain features. If they had done it with a bad implementation, people would have found the cryptic and grim story much less charming.
@renfairreject: It all depends on what RPG game type the Devs team chose to develope, if we talk about classic RPG you would be absolutely right, all those features would be useless, but the exact moment they decide to implement them they should make them at least on par with the other features of the game. If i have a great story, great multiple choices but they are presented in an awkward way, people will distract their attention from them and choose to focus more on what works better (combat, world exploring, scenery).
@bakula "facial expressions, dialogue, animations, uncanny valley and whatnot"... so, in other words, you chose to buy and play an ARPG stripped out of all the RPG features just to play a Call of Duty Sci-Fi version? Good for you but it's not so difficult to wonder why many don't like it so much.
Watched Season 1, not a bad show but... seriously, should every negative event in this world have to happen to this same girl? It's too exaggerated, there was no need to amass them all to a single case.
