to be honest, I always thought the Hd DVD looked better. Maybe it was just the blu ray movies I have seen (like 5th element, which looks pretty bad). HD DVD sound is also considered to be a bit better. Blu Ray had higher capacity on its side, but HD DVD was said to have developed into a comparable capacity. HD DVD discs are also stronger, less likely to scratch or be damaged. Blu Ray discs have a very thin layer at the top that, if damaged, I think ruins or hurts the integrity of the disc.
I liked HD DVD better, but Blu Ray has won. we (I) should move on.
Never had any problems whatsoever. That doesn't include the 2 times it freezed since i got it on release day, but they were both with Oblivion, so it was understandable.
I would kill myself. This is gonna be the best season for 360 games ever. Bioshock, Mass Effect, Assasin's Creed, COD4, Halo 3, GTAIV(I'm still in denial). How could you choose just one. Go hungry for a couple weeks and buy em all.
