when I get on System Requirement Labs to check out if I can play certain games, it tells me that my CPU is a p4-3.0 ghz with a rating of 4.5ghz because of the 2 processors running. Is this a significant advantage,or do all p4's run 2 processors?

Does anyone use this program? If you do,could you tell me what boxes you check or uncheck in the global settings application? I read in the Tweakguide site that it's best to have all the boxes checked. Does that sound right to you?

To run games more efficiently, what is the best way to set your virtual memory? After reading all the different ratios to use, I am still wandering if it's still best to use the "system managed size" option.

I've played GRAW 2 and finished it without any problems. Now that I want to play again, after I reinstall it,I get an error message saying-crash in application ver. Could not create render target because IDirect 3D: Create texture call failed-Does not have enough display memory! I'm using a P4 3.0-2gigs DDRram with a 7800 Nvidia card.

Any ideas as to why this would happen, especially the 2nd time around?

Does it really help to end your user name processes running in task mgr. before playing a game? I'm talking about a med. -high system. It just seems like such a pain in the ass to go thru this if you have 10-12 processes under your user name! Would you notice a difference at all?

I recently upgraded my system ram from 1G to 2G'S. So, I went and changed my virtual memory settings from 1500 to 3070 which is roughly 1.5 times my system memory. Is that about right? And, what differences should I notice on the overall performance of my comp? I have a P4-3.0 ghz.

How much of a difference in gaming do you think I would notice with another gig of ram? I am using DDR SDRAM 400 PC3200 with an Asus P4P800E Deluxe mobo. P4-3.0 GHZ processor. I know it makes a difference, of course, but I was just wondering where I would really notice it.
