No. An A is "passing." Its average. Cows and Lemmings don't list all the games on their system with a passing grade, and neither should you.

Endless Ocean is synonymous with Afrika, which Cows are not hyping. Because its not the type of game to hype.

hakanakumono

People on this board hype games at either A, AA or AAA all the time.

and your wrong 5.0 is a passing grade

7.0 = Good by gamespots own definition

No, people do not hype A games. Only you. Not even other sheep hype A games.

Anyone who knows gamespot reviews knows that a 5.0 is broken, a 6.0 is fair, and a 7.0 is fair. Passing. Average. Unimpressive. This is the same for other review websites. It's universally accepted, I suggest that you accept it as well.

Hyping games as AAA and posting a consoles lineup are two completely different things. People can post whatever games they want on a lineup, it doesnt mean they're hyping as AAA. Just that they are promising titles. No consoles lineups are all AAA titles. A, AA and AAA make up an important part of every gamers lineup. Your argument is just getting plain weird.

I took the A's off your list because A's are 7s. It's just the same as there's no use in bragging about C grades. One of them is even an ocean simulator. Not appropriate for comparison.

hakanakumono

No it's not the same as comparing it C grades, it's an A grade. We all play A games. An A game is a good game by definition. Stop trying to remove them from this discussion because it suits your argument.

A, AA, and AAA games are all relavent for dsicussion on this board and if you can prove otherwise please find me a link.

System Wars uses a special grading scale. A, AA, AAA, AAAE. This is synonymous with 70%, 80%, 90%, and 100%. An A title is only a %70. It's average; It's a passing grade.

Don't fool yourself in thinking that just because it has the letter "A" in it it's as good as getting an A on a test or paper in school. It's a C, in that regard.

dude... I think you need to read the word next gamespot's 7.0 reviews, it's 'good' , not 'average' as you're saying. You have no argument.

Okay, Red Steel. Perhaps Muramasa and Little Kings Story as well. They might not have the production value of Heavy Rain, but if Heavy Rain and LBP are going to be listed on the PS3's side I suppose its only fair. I overlooked them, sorry.

As for "in comparison" it still isn't a strong lineup in comparison with either of the "losing" consoles.

hakanakumono

If you figure first party titles in it blows away the PS3's exclusive upcoming lineup and thus your post is irrelavant.

Or do you want to count PS3 first party titles and not count the Wii's

"In Comparison."

Muramasa & Little Kings Story look good, but they're niche titles and not worth comparing to the bigger titles.

Monster Hunter 3 is a popular title in Japan, but it's not relevant to the west.

Final Fantasy CC isn't a main Final Fantasy title, and Dead Space Extractiona nd Resident Evil are railshooters. They symbolize a lack of effort on the part of third parties to bring full fledged titles to the wii.

The Conduit, Gladiator AD are poor looking titles. Please do not hype this, it will not turn out good for you.

Shaun White doesn't have a good track record, nor does Red Steel.

NMH2, Tales of Grace, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, The Grinder, and Dragon Quest are titles to compare, however they're still poor in comparison with the 3rd party effort on other consoles. And that's in comparison with consoles in behind the wii's sales. The wii is the first sales leader to get the least 3rd party support.

hakanakumono

Little Kings Story and Murumasa are not worth comparing to big titles because they're niche? What kind of gamer are you?

They're good titles, certainly, but idk if they're appropriate to list. The reason why I say this is because despite being a great game from the makers of Muramasa, I wouldn't hype Odin Sphere for the PS2 in a lineup either.

So why wouldnt good titles be appropriate to list.... give me a break dude. AA is not good enough to post?

[QUOTE="hakanakumono"] Really? Because third parties aren't taking any more action than they had before; the only reason the upcoming wii library is looking so good right now is because nintendo took the initiative themselves. Without Galaxy 2, Metroid: M, and Zelda Wii the lineup would be pitiful in comparison.

Being market leader isn't so hot when you're not garnering more support than you had before.

hakanakumono

Murumasa, NMH2,Little Kings Story, Final Fantasy CC, Monster Hunter 3, Tales of Grace, Tatsunoku vs. Capcom, Spyborgs, Gladiator AD, The Grinder, Red Steel 2, Shaun White, The Conduit, Dead Space Extraction, Resident Evil, Dragon Quest 10are pitiful?

fanboy much?

What kind of gamer are you to make such a comment?

Monster Hunter 3 is a popular title in Japan, but it's not relevant to the west.

Who cares? It look amazing.

Final Fantasy CC isn't a main Final Fantasy title, and Dead Space Extractiona nd Resident Evil are railshooters. They symbolize a lack of effort on the part of third parties to bring full fledged titles to the wii.

I didn't list them as any A, AA, or AAA status but you can bet they'll score A anyway.

The Conduit, Gladiator AD are poor looking titles. Please do not hype this, it will not turn out good for you.

I didn't hype them as established franchises, just solid up and coming titles

Shaun White doesn't have a good track record, nor does Red Steel.

Shaun White score A on the Wii and most of this board agrees Red Steel 2 looks awesome

NMH2, Tales of Grace, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, The Grinder, and Dragon Quest are titles to compare, however they're still poor in comparison with the 3rd party effort on other consoles. Poor comparison? Those games look freakin awesome. Who the hell are you to say that?
