Yep. I love XBLA.

Man if you asked me this a month ago...... Anyways, all I have left is.
33 360 games
31 XBLA games
9 Wii games
12 PC games
The only console I have now is a 360 and my game rig is on Craigslist. I am getting a Wii U and have about $470 on a Gamestop card right now. My PC should be sold by the end of the week.
I just don't get why Hermits constantly call anything released on a console casual and then turn around and buy it on PC. Here is an honest reason why just because a game is on console, it does not mean it is casual. I know everyone hates sports games but look at Madden or NCAA football. For someone new to gaming that is probably one of the hardest games to learn how to play. Every button has multiple functions. That is not even including all of the pre-season set-ups, the recruiting, the coaching aspect of the game, the fantsy set-ups.
It really has gotten to a point where Hermits are so pissed about most of the good devs turning to consoles that they feel they have to bash everything. It is like they feel they are being cheated or something. They still get the best version of the game most of the time. I really do not see the problem.
I still find it hilarious when they say Crysis 2 was crap compared to the first one. I thought they were both great. If you wanna talk about a game series getting worse for going to consoles that is the wrong game to use as an example.
Bottom line is PC gamers and console gamers obviously have different taste. And it isn't because console gamers are young, slow, or dumb. I personally like things streamlined. I like RPG's like Fable and Mass Effect where there is not a lot of BS inventory opitions and ugrading. I am not a fan of The Witcher 2 or Lost Oddyssey for example.
Different stokes people. But a good game is a good game. Just because a game does not take a 4 year degree in rocket science does not mean it is bad.
10 years ago would you think that Eidos would have to make Square look good? Man times have changed.
Man,I can't help but like you but you really have something against Microsoft. I can see where you are coming from with Fable. If you play through the story without doing side missions the games can be beat in about 7 or 8 hours(Calling it an XBLA game is a little harsh but since XBLA has a ton of gems I am not sure that is an insult.) Killzone is not better than Halo online. Killzone 3 was actually a big step back from Killzone 2' online. I respect your opinion but I think most will disagree with you.Bungie. They make crap campaigns and just tack it on as a joke, the online is the only good thing about Halo, which get's it's butt kicked by COD and Killzone.
Lionhead. They make short and way too easy games and you feel like you got ripped off after you finish the game. Fable should be an XBLA game at best.
Bethesda. They have good ideas but don't know how to program to save their lives, they completely sh!t on their fanbase on PS3, and are doing it with PC gamers to know by not releasing DLC for it. Either learn to develop right for all platforms or just don't release your game at all. Skyrim is fine now though, but still Bethesda definately gave us PS3 guys the bird. There is no excuse for their actions, the blame falls on them.
I know people are going to say Activision or TreyArch, which I admit that their games do not change much. But their games are not bad, COD is fun.

Rare and Lionhead? Really? Explain that one. Because Rare has brought out the avatars, 7 360 games, and 4 ports on XBL. lionhead has made 3 360 games, 2 XBLA games, and a PC port. You failed hard on this one...... lionhead is incredibly lazy. They always promise over the top stuff and ever deliver. There are always so many flaws with every fbale game despite each of them being good games over all. I love fable 2 but it really need boss battles and more stuff to do I know what you mean. Peter has a big mouth (that did not sound right at all did it?). But over promising on something does not really equal lazy. They do tend to disappoint more than most devs. I love FABLE 2. I though it was great.. I thought it was a flawless RPG for those folks who are not big RPG fans if that makes sense. I thought Fable 3 was a big step back but the art (The time period) made it one of the most eye-pleasing games I have played this gen. Lazy battle system? Sure....But I just can't call them a lazy developer.[QUOTE="deu5ka175"][QUOTE="Badosh"]Bungie, 343, Rare, Lionhead. inb4uall

[QUOTE="deu5ka175"]Counter-strike and Command and Conquer are on consoles. Hell, even the N64 had Starcraft. Counter-strike is on my damn 360 player card on my sig! That would mean gears of war and halo are also on PC, no longer exclusives. :) Gears of War and Halo are on consoles. They aren't exclusives. But the sequels are. I am not sure if you are trying to be funny or smart but neither one of them are working at the moment.[QUOTE="parkurtommo"] PC exclusives like Counterstrike, ARMA, Mount and Blade, Total War, Starcraft, WoW, Guild Wars 2, Civ 5, Command & Conquer, etc. :)parkurtommo

So if everything is consolized what do you play?
