I really struggled to finish SMG on the first playthrough, and then never picked it up again.

Let's see, Zelda 97.6%, MGS4 92% Not exactly small. MGS4 is the 72nd ranked game on the list. Still not bad, but it's no close gap like you make it seem.

Going in sequence, there's a small percentage gap between them, maybe I should have made that clear. Considering not every game gets the same amount of reviews, makes it even harder to judge.

No fanboyism, just stating facts. Now, if I make the statement "MGS4 is only ranked high on Gamespot", that'd be different.

If you're going by aggregate websites, there's several credible websites that gave it a perfect score, NOT JUST GS.

Even if you're going by gamerankings, anyone in that top 100 list is considered some of the "highest ranked" of all time, with a small percentage gap between them. MGS4 is the highest ranked PS3 exclusive on gamerankings.

There are 360 owners who actually want to play it, these guys I can respect.

There are other 360 owners who just want it to come to the 360 so they can rub it in and say the PS3 lost another exclusive. Their kind do not deserve MGS 4.
