While I think the TC is bragging too much about the 360's GTAIV advantages, the damage control I'm reading in this thread is embarrassing.

Dammit, I was just about to buy it this weekend for the 360. But if it has improvements to it, then I guess I'll "just wait" 'til September.

It probably wouldn't generate much hype, but I would LOVE for it to happen.

If you get GTA IV for the PS3 because you read the graphics will be slightly better, I can understand, but RROD is a reason not to get a console, not whether to buy a game. At least RROD is covered for 3 years, and I'm beginning to doubt it's on the newer consoles; my 360 doesn't even get hot. I'll consider getting another PS3 when they fix their "yellow light of death" problem.

And the extra DLC for the 360 should make this choice easy, jeez.

If I was the type of person who put laughable quotes in their sig, this would be a winner! Moving on, the RROD is real because it has happened to a lot of my friends. My 360, doesn't even get hot, though, but I bought it late last year, and it has an HDMI port. Personally I think they fixed the problem, but God forbid I mention an unlinked opinion is System Wars.

Yeah, Saturn bombed, but to me Virtua Fighters Megamix ALONE made the system worth having.

Congratulations. Why are you buying the PS3 version? Is it because you want to experience it on the PS3 and maybe compare it, or for possible DLC content on the PS3 that you think won't be on the 360 or what? I'm just curious as to why you would buy two versions of the same game.

I couldn't believe seeing the 2600 in the running for worst console. Why? Because it was a failure? It wasn't, it sold for over fourteen years! ALL consoles fail EVENTUALLY.

Because it caused the video-game crash in '84? The industry WAS the 2600 for a while! Are you saying that the system was SO GREAT that it single-handedly caused an entire industry to crash? How does such a great machine get put into a battle for worst console?

If you mean worst as in just crappy, back then it was crazy fun to play. If you mean it's the worst console compared to today's consoles, then you might have an argument because if someone offered me a 2600 or a Wii, I'll take the Wii. Probably.
