Just bought a 360 today, and I can't get connected to Xbox LIVE for the life of me! Occasionally, I can get it to connect to the internet, but it fails in the attempt to connect to the LIVE service. Sometimes, it'll connect to my wireless network, but will fail to connect to the internet. Mostly, it'll tell me that my MTU is set too low. But it's given me other odd errors as well. Regardless I've searched high and low through my router config and can't find anything to do with MTU. I've got an Ultraline Series3 router, which is the router that came with the FiOS installation. Any tips? =(
Thanks for the replies. Hmm. Pretty sure I won't be able to afford my gaming rig till the end of the year anyhow, so I'm glad there will be some better hardware by then.
Hey there. :) I'm really not an expert on PC hardware, but I've decided to build a PC gaming rig based on an Intel Core i7 940 processor and two nVidia GTX 285s in SLI. I'm wondering what would be appropriate motherboard, PSU, cooling, and case selections - considering the possibility that I may want to overclock as well. I'm sure I can easily figure out optical drive / keyboard / mouse / monitor on my own. I'm sort of at a loss as to where to start with the hardware I mentioned though. Thanks for any advice! Peace.
