Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops

Just got myself MGS: PO today!! Ive only had the chance to play for a couple of hours but so far i am very impressed! I recommend this game to all PSP users, it utilizes just about every aspect of the console from the joystick to L & R buttons and start/select and online (which i plan on using tomorrow8)) Im very excited about this game and ill blog again and probably write a review once i get through (or most of the way through)!!

XMAS Time!

As Christmas is approaching, I find myself yet again scrambling to find out what to buy my fam damily. I usually get my sisters a few cd's and a couple of games and whatever cheap stuff the mall has to offer. But this year, i have NO idea. Im not worried too much as its just the beginning of December, but trying to find the time to actually go shopping is hard to come by. My girlfriend made me a list back in the summer with the stuff she wants, and i got every single thing on that list, and a lil' extra  Im sure she will be quite impressed this year! But my family is what i always have trouble with, should I go with practical gifts that they might use? and if so what?? I HATE trying to figure out what they want & need. Iv'e asked them what they want and they just say "I don't know!" UUGGHHH, that drives me crazy!!! So I suppose ill just end up getting them cd's and whatever games i find while browsing the stores.

Status on Games im currently playin...

I have played one whole season on Madden 07 on PSP, now im starting to do some pre-season stuff for season 2. The game is definatly one of my favorites at the moment. Of course, im playin as the Patriots!! What other team would I be?? Im from New England!!! Anyways, Im very impressed with the graphics and gameplay on the PSP. It's pretty in depth with all of the pre-season training options and coaching goals.

Ive also been playing The Con lately and have moved up to the S-rankings. The game isn't too bad, but I feel there is not enough gameplay options. Sure you can customize your character with multiple outfits and hair styles and other accesories, but once your in the "ring" its the same thing everytime. Maybe if you could use some props like chairs or walls or other items in the room, it might break up the repetition, but other than that its ok. I find that the Bosses for each rank are really not that tough at all. I prepared my self for the fight of my career and its just like fighting any other team.

Anyways, thats just an update on my gaming status for the time being. Im still playing ATV: Offroad Fury Pro, but I have spent a little more time on these other games for the past few days or so. Well, more to come on some other early morning while im at work!!
