As others have stated, from looking at this feature anyone would wonder why firstly, anyone even bothered doing this feature, but secondly why Capcom bothered putting in DX10. I mean it doesn't do anything. Not unless your willing to spend a lot of time reprogramming. I'm not even gonna consider this a DX10 test, i'll wait and see what crysis can bring us.
Wow, at least they bothered to make new weapon models for the most part. It really does look like a shinier Halo 2, thats really terrible, the art style doesn't help either, it's so bland and boring it makes the games look exactly the same no matter how shiny the water is.
I love how they tested the games on Stalker even though surely, they know that game is not a good test of a cards performance, it's buggy as heck and stresses cards for almost no reason at all. although i dont want to join either side of this silly argument, as i just want whichever card comes out with the best performance for my money, but i had a top of the line motherboard, and i put SLi 6600GTX's in it, until one of them blew up...
Ok,. for one, i love crates, crates are awesome. Secondly, this article blows, seriously, i hate valentines day as much as the next guy, but this article is pointless, and annoying, most of the points it makes are moot, or just plain dont make any sense. I usually love Gamespots articles, but this one was a joke.
Security wise, this sounds really good, but everything else wise, it seems kinda moot and pointless, when i get a new laptop next year, i'll get one with Vista just for the security stuff, i can't see myself playing any DX10 games, especially not on a laptop, i'll do my gaming on a console now, don't have time anymore to fiddle about with PCs. Presentation is quite nice as well, almost Mac like. But macs are poo now anyway, OSX is just aweful, almost worse than XP. Friend of mine got Vista the other day and reckons it's pretty good, hasn't encountered any bugs or problems with it just yet, but i don't relly want a new system just yet, at least not until i've finished this years final projects at college.
I agree with Brad, Twilight Princess, while still a good game in it's own right, was boring, and felt a little samey. Phantom Hourglass looks really cool, i was one of the biggest supporters of the visual style brought along by Wind Waker, i love it.
Aside from spelling Tanuki wrong, nice article ^_^ Glad to see the inclusion of Final Fight, people see to brush that game unber the carpet far too often, it's such a classic.
