Maybe that's one of the reasons they got rid of them? Honetly, what use were the components really?

Components were something for you to be able to read to quickly get a key part of a games rating....like if i wanted to know how the graphics were i could just look at the components rather than read a 2 page review just to find out one line.....

Theres really no logical reason that they got rid of components...they werent hurting anything at all...

I dont like it, theres just something about it I dont like. When i look at the score it just doesnt seem to ring in my mind as the real score, like when i look at it now i dont even conisder it being the real score of the game. Its kind of wierd and i cant really describe it, like the score is empty.

O well....i guess ill find another place to get reviews. Theres something about this new system which doesnt really feel right, yet i dont know why....

yes in fact i do look at the graphics almost constantly...

Still to this day when i play half-life 2 i just look around at everything, just because it looks so real, whether you want to admit it or not graphics do matter.

When im playing a game with great graphics i find myself just looking around at things and being amazed, and when i play my Wii im just looking around for things that look half-way decent just to try to convince myself that Wii was actually worth my money..

You cant deny that graphics matter...a great looking game adds so much to a game. It still needs gameplay, but incredbile graphics take it to another level..

I think you have to be a little bit bias to say that the gamespot ranking change is better...its really not, .5 points is a huge difference in system war terms...I think its great if your just checking on a game score...but its really not what system wars is all about....

Usually we hype AAA or AA game am i right?? Each level had 10 possible scores....(.1, .2, .3 etc.) now its just out of 2....what fun is that gonna be? I think we all know what every game is gonna be now using gamespot scores...im willing to guarantee HALO 3 is gonna be a 9.5, Metal Gear is gonna be a 9.5 etc.

An 8.7 game is gonna be the same as a 9.2 game?? That just doesnt work for system wars...in this forum its a huge difference.

One of Ninja-Vox points was gamespot knows what they are doing and it will be fine....you are right.. But you think they base the entire site on system wars?? System wars has its own little world going on completely different than the rest of gamespot. The new reviews are great for people just checking to see how a game is, if its worth a buy or not. But for system wars purpouses its just not gonna work out, whether you wanna admit it or not... it takes away all the fun, every single review is gonna be so ridiculously predictable that its just not gonna be good to use here in system wars.

I dont think Gamerankings should be used either, because as some people said, they just seem to throw in any review they can possibly find, whether its a credible source or not..

Sadly i just think system wars is gonna have to deal with he gamespot reviews, theres really no other option....i guess we are just gonna have to find other things to talk about, its not like the only thing we talk about on system wars is reviews. Unfortunately the whole hyping games is just gonna have to be lessened, from here on its just not gonna be good anymore, people will always be arguing what site to use..

Gamespot doesnt care about system wars, its only like 20% of the people that use this site. Most come here for reviews, so they are adapting it to the majority of the people. We here at system wars are just gonna have to deal with the new system, and accept the fact that System Wars isn't gonna be as fun as it has been in the past...

yeah they tried to make it a monthly payment game (Which is when i stopped playing) and nobody wanted to pay...so they just make it free now and get their money from advertisements on the website....

i started playing for a while again...but for some reason i just stopped...havnt played in a while...

but yeah its free.....and its actually really fun if your good.....its just you gotta put up with a ton of 11 year olds...

Well it looks likes Disaster is gone too....

the official Wii website took off HAMMER from their games list....and if thats canceled...then thats not good...

because they deleted the Disaster: Day Of Crisis too...

Im kind of upset i bought a Wii..i want my money back...i havnt touched it in months...this controller seems to be more aggravating than it is fun...and all the games look like Ps2 games....

i was kind of thinking about something out now..i dont really have the best of computers...its brand new, so it should be able to run the games...but nothing new is gonna work.....

and there doesnt seem to be many MMO games out right now... 

Oblivion...by far...

abosoluteley everything about it is the same, the missions, the caves, the enviroment, the combat, the weapons..all the same...

I want to get one of these games.....but i dont know of many...

I dont want to pay monthly...so no Warcraft (i did want City Of Heroes, but o well)

I was thinking about getting Guild Wars...but i watched some video on it...and i kind of changed my mind...its not really an MMO....it seems more like a co-op game...

So any suggestions???
