@MrSaturn33 Hi, Im sure Bio-hazard 2 never got a european release for Dreamcast. I have previously owned the Japanese DC version - think it included a demo of Code Veronica. But in all honesty, regards DC RE2, I'm sure if I remember correctly was it was just a lazy PC port :(. I'd go with the PS1 version - because don't forget that it's backwards compatible with the PS3 too :D

I'm sad no one has even mentioned the Streets of Rage games. Those were the original 4 player beat-em up undisputed champ. A few others which have gotten semi-decent ports to the GBA or PS2 are: Metal Slug series Gunstar Heroes Final Fight Battle Toads Double Dragon River City Ransom If they ever revive any of the above (save for Metal Slug since it's already been done) I'd be so happy.MatrixPhyre

Ha Ha, funny.

And when was a Metal slug game ever a beat-em up? :D LOL

@TheMagusX1

Ok :D

So how about...

Neo Geo = Ninja Combat, Sengoku 2, Super 8 Man, Burning Fight.

Sega = Alien Storm, Dynamite Deka 1&2 (Die Hard Arcade), Spikeout (Arcade not Battlestreet).

Capcom =Knights of the Round, Captain Commando, Cannon Spike, D&D.

Although, IMO, these gamesall belong tothe Scrolling Action Genre - not beat-em ups.

And yes, I know some above have ports for PSP or last/older gen (some are even on Wii VC too).

I'm sayingthesewould benefit froma 100% accurate XBL/PSN port ;)

Oh, and does anyone know whats happening regards the future of Double Dragon on XBL?

Why does't the new copyright holder replace it- it has now been unavailable since EmpireEnt. went bust :(

Hi :)

Traveling nearly 100miles and paying £90.00 GBP for Virtua Racing (Japanese Import version)on the Sega Megadrive (Genesis) - seems an age away...

Another memorable, I suppose even 'crazy' story, but admittedly not exactly a legacy story....

The evening (about one week after UK release in Dec 2006) that I impulsively decided I wanted to que to get a Nintendo Wii.

I also talked my missus into joining me in travelling to a 'fairly local' ToysRUs in early hoursto get one as they were only available in very limited numbers.

We joined an existing que at3.45am in morning, to wait patiently in line fora Nintendo Wii - it was absolutely freezing - so cold we were all allowed to que inside the inside trolley parking exit area - we waiteduntil 7.30am when we were given a voucher for a Wii bundle.

I stillhave the uttmost respect for the Wii (and my missus - what an Otaku xx ).

I would never sell this Wii because of the great sentimental value atributed from the aforementioned experience - t'was worth every penny :D

Fighting Vipers 2 (arc)/ VF2(arc), Powerstone 1&2(dc),Xmen : COTA (arc), Xmen Vs Streetfighter(arc),Fighters Megamix (Sat),JoJo's Bizzare Adventure(arc), Tecmo's Double Dragon*(arc)*btw where is the UK XBL version these days..., Final Fight 'One'(gba), World Heroes Series (arc)- KOF99 (dc), Capcom Vs Snk Series(arc),Project Justice/Rival Schools Series (arc), Killerinstinct(arc) - oh well, wishfull thinking..

About 3 years ago I bought Giant Gram 2000 (Japanese DC game) in a british second-hand-pawn shop chain called 'Cash-Convertors' - paid £2.50 (equiv is less than US$4.00) - the box instructions and disc's were all mint - was rare bargain mind...:D

Hi

@MrSaturn33

Just a friendly bit of advice my friend. :D

It may be better to explain to the forum that you dont actually own a PS3 yet (if it is still so) and that you are are hoping someoone with the system may have the information you require (and thus avoiding giving the ammunition for dishing out sarcastic advice regards your query) :D

PS. Heard rumour of this TG16 back catalogue -but sorry to say I know nothing else of it (I also do not own a PS3). :?

LOL.

Already have played RROD Part 2 and RROD Part 3 actually... and yet I still wouldn't swap my X360 S for a PS3... its the quality of the games that matter.

You want to play the best - then you will, @ no matter what cost... just buy a back-up Arcade system, still miles cheaper than a PC.

Take a good look back @ last gen and PS2 and its dodgy DVD laser, but great games sold the system and itis testament to this! :)

Seen this game recently for £18.00 - sale price.

Was really tempted to buy at this price but I didn't pick it up.... should I have?
