"Press Dodecahedron to Jump"rogerjak

Sorry dude, Dodecahedron's are 3D. I don't think it would fit on the controller. :)

I originally bought a 360 because it was the only console out at the time, and I loved the original Xbox. Now I'm getting tired of it. I feel like I've seen everything its games have to offer because the only games that get a lot of hype on the system are generic shooters (Halo and Call of Duty for example) and an occasional RPG (Oblivion and Mass Effect).

That is what made my buy a PS3, and I haven't looked back since I got it. I understand where your brother is coming from. I liked the PS3 more because it has free online that works really well. I'm not saying XBL is expensive, but it costs more money than free. I also found the PS3 to run faster on its dashboard setup (I think it is called XMB). The 360 always seemed mighty sluggish.

But after all that I always go back to my PC. I'd say if you are wondering why people chose a 360 if you are thinking about buying a 360 or a PS3, you should just skip both and build a gaming rig, they do everything better than the consoles. :D

... too bad they're so damn expensive :?

It's old school type of online play. Set your prefs for a game, search through the list of servers and select one to join. Weapons are picked up on the map (you start with a pistol). The jumping works really well when you get used to it, you have a double jump. You can play dead which is fun when you can figure it out. I've found it incredibly fun, but I'm also pretty good at it. So, when you get better at it, it's a ton of fun yes.fntsycloud

I don't know if you knew or not, but you can also jump off of walls. Like rebound off of them when you fly into them.

Yea, UT3 is a ton of fun. It has good old deathmatch modes and capture the flag, and it also has a cool mode called Warfare. If you played UT 2004 it is the same as Onslaught mode. It is basically a territories game, but with all the Unreal stuff. Also, I personally just love Unreal games.

It almost sounds like the good old QBasic game Gorillas.

It also sounds like it could be one of the worms games, but you can move around in those so I don't know if that's what it is.
