@Daian: Just look at any of the 62 reviews on Metacritic. It has a 98 right now with more perfect scores than any game I've seen. The lowest score is a 90/100.
@thomasn7: Just so it boosts console sales? The game has a 98 on metacritic with more perfect scores than any game I've ever seen. Maybe... just maybe... it's just a good game and there is no conspiracy going on?
@justin1946394: Unless you're a single player only sort of guy, Halo 5 was dang good and still is. It's probably the best halo multiplayer since halo 3 - maybe better. There's still tons of people on the game and I and a LOT of people I know play it at least weekly still.
@Gomtor: I have both cod and tf2 and would strongly recommend Titanfall 2 over cod. It's literally better in every way. Both the single player and multiplayer are amazing and better than cod. It's the best shooter I've played in years and almost everyone who tries it agrees. It also has the highest rating on meta critic out of those three. If you're a single player man, the single player is short but absolutely incredible - best I've played in years. Ask almost ANYONE who has the final version of tf2. It's the best of the three.
@EXxile: I'm not sure why people are getting upset with Gamespot about that. The game got tons of 7's and 8's from lots of outlets. Gamespot was not unique. Just look at Metacritic.
@mattcake: Perfectly put mattcake. They originally said the entire headset would only be $300. Now the controllers alone are $200? What are they doing?
@Ovirew: You know, to be honest, I like Craig as Bond - I think he does a great job. I just don't like the new character they've written him as - manic depressant, lacking a bit in the suave department, always getting beat up, etc. I think if they stuck more to the Bond character Daniel Craig could be one of the best. He fits the profile and can certainly play the character.
Yeah, I'm interested in who the new Bond will be and if they'll go back to their roots a little. I think they can do a more traditional Bond but cut some of the camp. Brosnan fashioning a snowboard and a parachute to survive an avalanche was just too much.
@Ovirew: That's a really good analogy. Yeah, I think part of the problem is that Castlevania in general has a very special place in my heart, and when I played LoS, I just felt like they made it some generic yet high quality 3rd person action game and it wasn't a Castlevania game anymore. It had been "Michael Bay-ized".
Honestly, it's kind of the same reason I personally don't like the new James Bond movies. They're decent movies on their own, but they just aren't James Bond. That manic depressive, emotionless, "prone to getting the crap beat out of him" guy is NOT James Bond in my opinion. To each their own I guess.
