Just one question for you. I am 37 and my daughter is 7, which makes her my second gen.
If a 14 year old girl has a child, would her child be to close in age to her for you to say she is not second gen, she is just a beefed up version of her mother. Or would your argument be that she is a cheaper version, or maybe becasue she has not developed into a teenager, she is not graphically comparable to her mother. GEEZ!!!!
PS3 has flopped, will flop, and they will do better on the next round. Face the music. You got what you wanted and it backfired, a monster graphics chip, with no gameplay to speak of.... oops, for got your favorite excuse... YET!!!!!!
I swore by PS2.... then I swithced to Xbox for homebrew.... never liked the GC, and then bought the PS3... I owned it, sold it, and bought 360, then got Wii. You have got to realize that even with your PS3 googles on, you have been had by the BluRay monster. Game over this round.... insert coin and try again with the PS4.
Nintendo accepted defeat on the N64...... why can you refuse to accept it now? Is it the $600? Is it the fact that your so use to being on top, you can't take it? Or is it cause Sony said so?

I want to get a Wii someday. But, do you really have anything to brag about for the Wii? It has crap games also. Let me see....Twilight Princess...umm.....umm...Super Paper Mario will probably be good..umm...then we got to wait a while for Super Mario Galaxy. Nintendo has crappy third party support once again. And the Wii's only saving grace are its 1st party titles. Other than that, the Wii is not worth buying. Thanks... finally a logical, well thought out response. Wii is fun. I know that is not a linkable, provable argument, but it is the bottom line on this gen. Most people yelled, screamed and cried about graphics for so long that it finally became the norm, to sacrifice gameplay for graphics chips and resolution. For instance, I think the graphics are more important than gameplay phenom, occured right after NCAA 05. 05, is by far the best playing of all console football games, then came the graphics war, and they took away from gameplay to build the graphics up. 90yd TD passes became the norm again, and buying jewelry for your created player really blew it for me. I want a game that is FUN to play. Donkey Kong was fun. Graphics were stupid looking, but the game was fun. Nintendo introduced something DIFFERENT. This in my mind shows that Nintendo is going after a new idea, and trying to make it fun again.
