no no no friend codes are not required you can search for games like on any other online system but you can add friend codes if you wants unranked games other than tht you can play with any 1 u want on ranked
i hope they fix it for tonight i was so up for a game i hope gamespot make like 1 of there tournament things l8er for this once its up and running who is up for exchanging friend codes :D

no you do not need friend codes it is like playing on the ds basically you can do ranked match with any1 unranked is with people with friend codes and nothing else im going to start recording this the now please leave a post if you are going to watch the video :)
