Does anyone know a single device that requires the internet to function? I mean aside from modem or a router things of that nature I mean all these devices use the internet but they don't need it for other functions.

yeah because windows 8 fucking blows for most applications. especially commercial and medical applications.

is m$ actually paying fans to create accounts to add to these forums. do they think they can reach the gamers that way or what?

@RG923 sounds similar to windows 8, its like lets just change the entire interface over night, so it will work on all sorts of devices across the board, but stuff like that doesn not happen over night.

right, so you cant play all the next gen games. that sounds like a great idea. not to mention paying for live on an outdated system

three's just so much not to like about the x1 and it's 100 dollars more. They will have to backpedal again like they did with windows 8.
