Sign up for Bing rewards. I've gotten about 1900 points from them so far just for searching stuff with the bing toolbar. I probably get 400 points every 3 weeks or so.

More people playing Mass Effect = more money for developers = higher chance of additional Mass Effect games being made.

I usually go for them unless they are near impossible (Mile high club - COD4), mind-numbingly boring (Collecting 100 flags in Assassin's creed), or online-related (Win 500 online games without getting hit).

Check this crazyness out. So ive been waiting for over a month for these points to arrive. I was actually 700 points in waiting. I just got an email for 100 points as usual, but when i redeemed the code it gave me 400.

I know that the 100 points option has been replaced by 400, but the email states perfectly that its a reward for 100 points. Im just gonna take it and run. LEts see so im waiting for 6 more rewards which will total to 2400 points :P

Or maybe they goofed the email and just bundled 4 of the 7 together idk, im just glad to see them actually make it.

I had 500 points waiting out there, finally got an email with a code - mine was only for 100 though. Maybe my next code will be for 400? I'm one day away from earning another 400 points.

I'm currently on a 16 point/per day schedule. I was bummed about only having two extra points clicks on Sunday, but then I got two more today. Maybe they are starting to spread those out over the week a bit.

Nothing wrong with suggesting someone expand their list when there are so many other better games out. He may not know about the others.

i kinda do like eternal sonata since i played a demo..i need to get around to buying it

The combat is great, the story is ok. Overall, I got bored with it pretty fast. Some of the cut scenes are loooooong. Like 10 minutes long.

I'm waiting on 200 points to be confirmed...not holding my breath though.

Anyone else know of any other deals where I can get free MS points? I really want Scott Pilgrim game lol.

seimagery

I indirectly get them from Swagbucks. I generally get $25/month worth of amazon cards and then use those to buy points. You get points by searching with their search engine, filling out surveys, etc. Make sure you use your spam email account, as your email will get flooded by spam. It's at www.swagbucks.com and add a /refer/djphelps to the end so we both get some extra points. :)

There are places like points2shop.com and stuff but I don't know how reliable they are or how much time you are willing to waste.

jjivey

I messed with the point2shop some. I ended up with a $9 game ($5 for the game and $4 for shipping) this took just a few days, but once i hit about $10 worth or 1000 points it slowed down to nearly nothing. Seems very few offers even award the points now.

As far as legit, its as good on its word as it gets.

Oh and the bing rewards is still out with 500 missing points now.

I finally got support to respond to my question about Bing points. Turns out that the tickets I submitted automatically closed for some reason. After reopening a ticket, I got a response back in about 2 business days. They stated that they usual pay out time was 8-10 weeks, and while the first couple of points were awarded quickly, they have to wait to "restock" or something like that. So maybe we'll see our points next year some time :)

the XBOX only uses 16GB of stick memory, regardless of the size of the stick. It can be used as a regular harddrive, but it is definitely worth it to save up for the 250GB. Ask for gift cards for Christmas :)

[QUOTE="sheriffjonny"]Hi guys, just got a new wireless N router for the house. At present i have one of the old wirless adaptors on my xbox 360 which is about 3 metres away from the router. When i tune the network for media centre i get to the last bar of suitable for tv on the bar chart, but i can't get into the suitable for HD bands. Now the question i'm thinking now is, is it worth paying out for a new wireless N adaptor or going back to an old school wired connection? Does anybody still use a wired connection? What sort of performance you getting, theoretically it should be excellent, but i've read posts where people say they have no connection issues with wireless, but get problems with wired, i can't see that this is true, but there can be gremlins in anything i guess, so please discussXbox360Gamer15
you should get the normal wireless...people still use wired but its not as good as wireless because if ur computer crashes when ur wired so does your 360

Um, no. If your connection goes down when your computer crashes, you are doing it wrong.

If you can go wired, do that. For most single floor houses, apartments, dorm rooms, the normal G adapter is fine. If your wireless router is on the other side of your house, or you are only getting a single bar for some reason, change the location of your router, or go with an N.

I'm running with a G and it works fine.
