If you want the PS3 to upscale your games to 1080p, go to the display settings and make 1080p the only checked resolution. As far as Resistance 2 goes, it's really good.

Try this. Download the system update from the PS3 website, then put it on a flash drive and use that to update your PS3. http://www.us.playstation.com/Support/SystemUpdates/PS3

The one in Warhawk that requires you to reach the General level. I understand putting difficult trophies in a game, but putting one that takes over 1000 hours is a bit too much.

Best game on the PS3 imo, followed by Uncharted 2. The cutscene from Act 3 was my favorite one. The only thing I have against this game is the bosses, which could have been a bit more difficult imo.

They actually look promising, especially if they include interchangeable buttons. I think they shouldn't cost more than $20-30 though.

The battery will last you for years, and if/when they do crap out, you take the screws off the back and change the batteries. If your TV is an SDTV and has a port for component cables, then that probably means that you're TV can do 480p with component.

[QUOTE="dk00111"][QUOTE="Spydey9"]

I ask this question because I was re-living the Resident 5 experience with my friend. We were playing on the same PS3. When it came to the time for us to buy new weapons or upgrade weapons my friend could not do this. The option for him to buy or upgrade was not highlighted. This seems strange to me.

It depends on the game. Resistance 2, for example, supports it.

Are you saying that I can have my own PSN ID, go over to a friend's house and log in with that ID and my friend will still have the ability to use his own? Meaning we can play co-op with separate IDs and get our own trophies?

Yes, as long as the game supports it...

[QUOTE="EMOEVOLUTION"]

what's happening in Iran is horrible.. but, such is the nature of the human condition.

mrbojangles25

I completely agree that the consequences are horrible.

But at the same time, itis beautifulthat there are large numbers of people out there still willing to hold protest (violent and physical protest, too) against corrupt and/or oppressive governments.

It is almost inspiring in a way.

And while that specific incident and many others are extremely depressing and tragic, in the grand scheme of things it will likely be a worthy sacrifice if the Iranian people get what they want. If that death motivates 1000 more Iranians to protest, it would be worthwhile.

I wouldn't really put a "price" on the death of someone, but I can see what you mean. The more people they kill, the more Iranians that are angered and want to protest. It's starting to be a lose lose situation for them really.

In home, you just put holes in different places. In the actual game you control the view in order to get your guy from point A to point B. Look up gameplay on youtube and you'll see what I mean.
