People need to keep in mind that this game has nowhere near the kind of budget it had when it released on Dreamcast a very very long time ago. This is going to be on a smaller scale and I would compare it to an indie kind of game, despite the help it'll get from Sony. I loved Shenmue 1 and 2, but I'm afraid it's way too dated and will not be as fun to play in the modern day. We are very spoiled now. I wonder if they should just let it die.
@itz_sinz: I agree, I got a PS4 back in April because I got bored with my xbone and wanted to play some of Sony's exclusive titles (BloodBorne, SFV, Nioh, NIer , etc). Unfortunately, I've barely touched my xbone since I got my PS4. I want Microsoft to deliver something compelling to bring me back to their console. I only play xbone at this point for the multiplayer because their online IMO is much better than Sony's, but I've been playing a lot of single player games lately so I've had very few reasons to turn my xbone back on.
cool feature and glad MS is going to actually follow through on this. My best friend and I found a work around when it comes to sharing our digital libraries. For example, he signed into my Xbone under his gamer tag, claimed my xbone as his "home console," and i did the same thing on his xbone. Whenever he or i buy a digital game, they automatically download to both of our xbone's. We share the cost of games this way, granted this can only work between two people. We've been sharing digital games since 2013.
@captnlongdong: i pre ordered the digital deluxe version which came with the first two DLC's expecting it to blow me away. Unfortunately, i immediately regretted paying for the piece of RNG crap that Destiny was. I heard it got better but that very first week left such a bad taste in my mouth that i refused to even play the DLC i had paid for in my digital deluxe copy. I hope Destiny 2 is better for their fans, but i know i wont be buying it because of all the missteps with the first one.
I think this is a great thing and I'm happy that according to this develop MS actually nailed what they were going for. I hope this leads to better games and more possibilities in general.
Good for him, wish i would've liked Destiny more. Didnt want to dump 100 hours to get the best gear, didnt always have team of friends available to play, and the RNG for weapon drops is actually what made me drop the game. Im sure people are excited for Destiny 2, im hoping that one resonates with me more.
