[QUOTE="dlionsfan09"]When all is said and done, I bet Ovechkin is going to have a short career a la Lindross. He needs to tone down his physical game. There's nothing wrong when playing with passion, but when you leave your feet to hit someone half-a-dozen times a game, it's going to catch up to you pretty quickly. He should learn from his suspension he had earlier.dont worry because when its said and done ovi will be better than cry baby crosby
oahhh and btw team canada sucks go usa 5-3 baby whooot whott

I agree with Engrish_Major
I don't get your point they are both great players, they both make their team mates better.
Crosby just recently led his team to a Stanley Cup so I really don't see your point dlionsfan.
RAGINGxPONY
last time i check im pritty shure he didnt show up in the finals......andre fluery was a huge part of that stanley cup
whos the caps goaltender lollll
Oh okay now we're just going to start comparing goalies I see.
Crosby has a Stanley Cup ring and was the youngest Captain to lead his team to the Stanley Cup. You can try to down play that all you want but he still did it and Ovie didn't sorry man.
BTW Varalamov was great in the play-offs for the Caps and they still lost to the Pens, nuff said.

Of course I watch hockey. Enough to know that the Capitals have an increasingly deep roster of talented young players.[QUOTE="Engrish_Major"][QUOTE="dlionsfan09"]

[QUOTE="dlionsfan09"]Even if you remove all goals and assists that Ovech has on others' goals on the team, the Capitals still have more goals than a few teams in the leage. So, how is he all by himself?yea an how many goals has he contributed looooolll not to mention he draws in defensemen and allows others to score duhhhh dont you watch hockey kid

If you've been watching for 22 years, you'd know that Ovi is anything but "all by himself". The Capitals are the highest scoring team in the league...[QUOTE="dlionsfan09"]
listen to me tc and everyone else in this thread, i have been watching hockey for 22 years and no one in this past 2 decades has been more important to their team, and more elusive, skilled, and a true definition of a hockey player than ovi.... i am sorry this shouldt even be a question of who is better, not to mention last time i check crosby has a fantastic supporting cast golie and all, last time i checked ovi is all by himself he makes everone around him better

There both really good. Sidney is probably the better overall player, but Ovie is a better scorer.
So i'll go with Crosby.

[QUOTE="dlionsfan09"][QUOTE="nocoolnamejim"]Every time you're applying for a new job you have to prove something to someone.nocoolnamejim
yea i can relate to that one....thats why its so important to get an education to add to your appeal during that proccess but to be honest it sucks, whish i didnt have to go to school
Yeah, I can understand that. I guess a way that I'd choose to look at it isn't by feeling like you need to prove anything to anyone else. I'd look at it as a way to get a sense of accomplishment for yourself. Hang tough and think about how it will feel for you to be the first person in your family to go up in front of a big crowd of people and accept your diploma. I can tell you...it feels good to get that little piece of paper. It's something that you'll be able to feel proud about for the rest of your life.yea your 100 percent right, but i mean i just see why so many people fail to make it

No i don't...although i have a large amount of pressure from my parents to do well and such..
Xx_Hopeless_xX
if you dont mind me asking
what are they currently pressuring you about so much
sounds stupid but my parents always stressed about doing the right thing...yeaaaaaaaa
GPA...spending all weekend studying...how lazy i am...how i'll never amount to anything if i keep "this" up..stuff like that..
yea parents are tough....i know how it is, but the best thing you can do is just keep composure and strive for better
