It's not over yet. There was just a long hault over the summer. In a couple of months there is animal crossing with online voice chat and early next year there is wii sports 2. Also for 3rd party support the force unleashed is coming out in about a week.
For almost 10 years now microsoft fanboys have been ripping on Nintendo by saying, it's graphics"suck". But I was thinking about this and I realised something...Nintendo is gonna be the dominate company! The best thing Microsoft has going for it is good graphics, but with the power of the latest systems it's becoming impossible to make the graphics much better. Sure there could be more detail on these games but with Nintendo hoarding in the fans with casual games they are gonna kick butt! I say within 10 years that 80% of gamers will be playing Nintendo only because A) They are more creative B) Graphics won't play a crucial part.C) They are Nintendo!!
Over all those projects, Meyer said he learned the different between a player and a gamer.
"When players turn the game off, it's over," Mayer said. "They don't think about games when they're not playing them."
They want the same things: Gameplay that works, substantial characters, compelling stories, gorgeous environments, and rock-solid controls. But when hardcore gamers give feedback, Mayer said they can cause more harm than good.
