You do not need to PvP (player versus player) to get good gear. In fact PvP gear is so random it's not worth it. You could be the top player and get nothing, while the worst player might get a Rare gear. The only real way to get gear PvP is to get your Crucible level up and then buy the Legendary Gear.

In reality people who like PvP and want to do that exclusively might have to (most likely have to) farm the world maps, do strikes and raids to get legendary and exotic/elite gear. And so far I haven't heard anyone getting exotic gear form PvP yet.

It's funny that you get a moderation e-mail when you argue with a mod and they lose the argument because they don't know whet they are taking about or don't have reasoning behind their argument.

Do they actually think that they have any power or control? This is a game forum. At best this is a diversion or a whim. I wonder if they think if it makes them feel better about themselves. Oh well.

So if you have any funny epesodes where you been modded because the mod lost their argument, post it here. We can all use a good laugh.

[QUOTE="dok_dx"]Then Play Demon's Souls. Not much of a story, but you have less items and better gameplay, that is, if you like a challenging game that has great hit detection, pvp, co-op, a smaller environment, and some of the, THE BEST Boss fights ever. parvie
are you being sarcastic with the hit detection? Whenever i pvp online it lags consistently.

I very rarely lag. Sounds like you either have a slow connection or just running into people with bad connection. But that happens in any online game. Moreover, hit detection also has to do with the ability to lock on to a single enemy. Something Oblivion lacks. I still like Oblivion and would recommend it, although I'd play DS over it any day.

There's not that many glitches at all. Like everything else on the interweb everything is exaggerated. Go play the damn thing already.

Get MGS4 even if you never played any of the others. Demon's Souls is only for those who can stand old school punishing games that kicks you when your down (my personal GOTY). If you like GOW than Heavenly Sword is a must buy.

Demon's Souls is a must buy (for hard core gamers only) and should be played after you played U2 and Killzone 2. LBP is great too. All in all, if your like most (not all but most) Demon's Souls player you'll be playing DS for a long time. Think 200+ hrs.

Does the game once in a while lose connection with the Demons Souls servers for anyone else during play?

Thomasdeleo

In over 200 hours it happened to me 1 time. I think my ISP had slowed down due to too many people on the bandwidth I was using.

Awsome thx. I'll try that as soon as I get home. But I guess what I really wanted to know is how do you guys know all this? Are you following some sort of strategy guide or something? I mean the game don't really explain much. Heck they never even explained how upgrading weapons worked, let alone where and how to acquire armor. From what I've seen poeple post, they explain ways of getting armor and weapons that are not quite obvious in the game. Example is that sword by the dragon god. There is so much involved in getting that sword that I don't see how it's possible to get it without outside help.

Well I can only answer for myself, a lot of stuff I muddled through without know what was going on for a long time and as time progressed, I began to understand stuff like weapon based stats, location of secret items, what works on bosses and etc. But for all the WT and CT I went to the wiki. I don't think there's a way to understand that stuff without it.

Is it possible to kill the two dragons in the first world? Or are they just like an animation?

Also, do the levels get harder as you progress through the world or are later worlds harder than ealier worlds? For example, will the last level of the first world be easier than the first of the second world?

Michael622

It is possible to kill the Red Dragon in world 1-2 on the bridge watchtower with about 100 to 200 arrows. The Blue Dragon can be killed in world 1-4 with about 100 to 200. (the amount of arrows has to do with the bow atk power, arrow atk power, and your stats.)

They will not be there in 1-1 if you have near pure white world tendency aka near PWWT.

The enemies become more powerful, i.e., more health and more damage, the deeper you go into a world. Ex. 1-2, is harder than 1-1 and 1-3 is harder than 1-2 so on and so forth.
