[QUOTE="XxChicagoTedXx"][QUOTE="dakan45"] I dissagree because i never cared about choices....i like big open world rpgs. Mass effect was a far inferior kotor, without much rpg elements and i cant say the choices really did anything crazy, but the choices in fallout 2.... well i just found them more important.... stilll bioware and their choices are something i dont care in rpgs.... linear dialogues are the best way to tell a story right, options are just ruining the quality.dakan45
Aren't choices one of the main requirements for an RPG?
Ehhh diablo? leveling up like crazy and hack and slashing everyone? Thas more like my style. Diablo is an action RPG. Which is barely an RPG.[QUOTE="dakan45"][QUOTE="Astaroth2k"]come on... better than most rpgs released this era, like mass effect. I haven't played Fallout 3, but I did play Oblivion and Mass Effect was a MUCH better game, you actually made real choices in that game, unlike Oblivion. However I have heard that Fallout 3 is a lot better then Oblivion so I do need to give it a try. But overall I just think that Bioware >>>>>>>>> Bethesda in making REAL RPGs. If you are talking about choice, FO3 destroys ME, the game where choosing a completely opposite dialogue option leads to the same result. Oblivion is still crap, though.Fallout 3 was a bad bad game,a tad better with mods. This isn't just nostalgia talking though,if i rated it without taking fallout 2 into the equation i would still say its a crappy game....taking fallout 2 into the equation i would say its a crappy crappy game.
