They should start. I feel so sorry for them. After all of those centuries of reproducing with people of the opposite gender, they had to endure so much persecution. Did you know that heterosexuals were once considered evil, unnatural, and in some cases, demonic? There are actually a lot of people who still think this way. I've heard about heterosexuals being fired, kicked out from restaurants, stoned and hanged in less developed countries, all sorts of evil things. It takes so much strength and effort to get by as a heterosexual these days, and I admire them for putting up with it. They have a lot to be proud about.
