haha jk. yea it will become second nature, playing combinations of frets in particular patterns will become second nature once u do it enough, eventually u wont have to even look down at the fretboard that much.

just make sure u practice a lot.

Haha yeah, he's showed me a few other songs a while ago. I just got out my guitar actually and I found this EXTREMELY easy song to play by my favorite band :D. I know, I know, it's incredibly simplistic but I'm gonna be playing this with Winamp for the rest of the night :).

The gospel according to John, Chapter 20, verses 24-31 if I recall correctly talks about how this person named Thomas doesn't believe He is Jesus unless he is allowed to put his finger into the print of the nails, and later in that segment He lets Thomas put his finger into the print and into his side, and then he believes it's Him, so that may be what you're referring to about the holes.
