This has me laughing out loud!!!:lol::lol:

Q: Nintendo seems to be doing a better job pushing the DS; what is SCEA doing to combat their success?

Since its record-setting launch in MArch 2005, the PSP system has actually outsold all nextgeneration handhelds in North America.

With more than 5 million units sold in North America, we're pleased with the success the PSP has achieved. The next step is to build on that success with our core gaming audience to reach a wider mass market audience, while contunuing to educate both PSP owners and non-owners about everything the device offers, particularly beyond gaming.

FireEmblem_Man

Sure the PSP is selling, but not at a constant rate like the DS!!!

 that was true when psp launched but after that the system failed. psp sold more than 360 and ds combined back in november 2005.

Sony should get sued for passing this false info to the consumer

all of those statements combined dont even come out to be as abda as "we cold run games at 120 fps in full hd and true audio" lets not mention those real time e3 05 trailers. "we want consumers to work extra hours to afford a ps3" sonies list goes on

UPDATE: i also though sony could sell 5 mill with absolutely no games :| since they have 1 good game why havnt they sold 5 mill in 8 months?

[QUOTE="JAMES_L_BROOKS"]online fees and extra hardware and new battaries for the contollers (it adds up)JAMES_L_BROOKS

that'll take around four years to even tie up with the cost of a single ps3 :?

actually 1 minute for those who bought the wireless network adapter $120 and XBL 80$

see the thing about that is it is a optional product, i didnt buy and i have spent £350 with add ons for my 360, guess what a ps3 cost over £400.

thats why you dont use optional add-ons for cost because not everyone will buy them.

sry im just balancing it out wiht ps3's FREE ONLINE and FREE WIFI and not to mention i should add 200 more to even it out with the BLU-RAY and i should upgrae the xbox to elite to even out the HDMI lol ahaha

1) blu-ray is pointless for gaming

2) xbl service is superior and has much more features than psn - stop trying to be comparative - it only hurts your argument

3) you dont need to buy microsoft's expensive adapter. there are other options.

4) does the ps3 even come with hdmi cable? i recall those being fairly expensive

Blu-ray is amazing for gameing as RFOM was 15gb sry xbox

XBL is going to be beaten by home and in my books psn is already better bcz its free

and i can get an HDMI cable for like 10-15 dollars

since we need to make unnecesary calculations. PS3 did not come with a headset ($50) or an ethernet cable ($15) or a first party component cable ($20). and also why did you calculate the wireless adapter @ 120 i could get if for 95 including tax, and xbl is only 50 a year.

lol ethernet cable $15 AHHAHAH AHAHAHAH more like $2 and again canadian pricing ne ways the addition of the HD-DVD drive already exeeds the ps3 so my point is proven and ur wrong so deal with it

ok fine you need a tv that runs at 120 fps in 1080p. research and developement for that tv cost 10 mill and then the tvs inital price would be 8000 360 wins

[QUOTE="plat1num913"]well he has a point 360 + games comes to a wopping $5000 a ps3 and its 1 good game comes to $670 PS3 WINS_en1gma_

you also need a car drive to the store and buy them + 2000 dollars

you also need a housewith runing electricity and you need food and water to live. and you need enough gas to go back and forth from work to pay for it. 250000 at least

NO WAY. and at the risk of being flamed, all screens and videos thus far have been on the 360 version.
