I've been gaming since I was five years old on the NES. I love Mario, LOVE Mario, but no. BotW is game of the year 2017. Can't wait for Odyssey though.

I voted Gears. Never liked the Halo Series, not my thing. Gears is an IP worth making a console purchase for. When Dom died, so did a little piece of me :(
Wire your console. 50' of cat5/6 is better than 5" of wireless. My modem/router is in my LR entertainment center, all consoles wired with 1m cables (except for Switch but I'm gonna get the adapter) even though I pay for highest tier Internet available. In competitive online gaming, a fraction of a millisecond counts.
I realize that it was spelled "kim jong-il" buts it's a play on words cuz old people like me remember when "ill" meant "cool" and also the name inspires fear. If my name was Sean that's why my gamer tag would be. You're welcome, snap it up across every platform before some other Sean does, you'll be especially mad when you see that a "Shawn" or a "Shaun" or some other variant snaps it up.
*best* has yet to be seen, I'll be getting both GT Sport and Forza 7. Looking forward to both quite a bit- gonna get an XBoneX so Forza gonna look outstanding on my TV, but I'm a little more amped for PSVR support for GT on the PS4 Pro.
@quadknight: it feels like that's what they did with the Battlefront VR. It's cool and all, but it seems they handicap how hot dog you can fly. I'm prone to go crazy with the barrel rolls, partially I'm sure cuz I've been in a squadron with Slippy Toad too long. But yeah I like to take top-gunning a little over the edge, I hope in VR the game can keep up with people like us is all.
