I am a so-called Europhile. Combine that with my autistic odd obsessions and the result is the creation of this niche "small" list (500+ titles). I am currently registering all games developed in Europe starting from year 2000 to present. The list will grow with every release. Indie games are also included. The list is available on both IMDB and as a Steam Curator (see list of 'associated games').
Needless to say, the Steam version has more games than the IMDB version, because not all games are registered on IMDB. It is for movies after all.

I'm gonna need some help here. If you have the time and energy for it, have a look at one of the versions.
If you know any game which was made in Europe, but not listed, let me know.
I'll add them if they are available on Steam and IMDB, after I have researched them.
And hey, perhaps you'll spot some interesting games you never knew about!

IMDB version

Steam version (see list of ''associated games'' to the right)

MEMO:

- Game must not be older than year 2000
- Foreign joint-productions excluded
- Browser, educational, MMO, free and portable-only games are excluded

MOSAIC - Krillbite (Norway)

Beatable and logic puzzles that also require lateral thinking. Portal 2 is the best example I have played

None. But I can list a two games I consider close to perfect

Mass Effect 3 -
a perfect combination of solid mechanics and great fluid combat with great action flow

Inside -
Smart but beatable puzzles, constant atmospheric flow
uninterrupted by annoying confusing story

No. As said, my list is of my favorites. I can't list games that I haven't played nor which are not my favorites. "Favorite" means exactly that, a favorite

Might be a bit odd questions but, I thought it would be interesting to ask this. Since USA and Japan are basically the most known creators of games and the countries that instantly pop up in people's head. What games made in Europe have you ended up liking? Below are some of my favorites

Inside - Playdead (Denmark)
Rise of the Triad remake - Slipgate (Denmark)
Hitman Absolution - IO Interactive (Denmark)
The Surge - Deck 13 (Germany)
Velvet Assassin - Replay Studios (Germany)
007 Blood Stone - Bizarre (UK)
Split/Second - Black Rock (UK)

Dont know how it is in america but here in Europe, shooter-games made in the early 2000s could end up with a PEGI 12 age-rating, such as 007 Everything or Nothing.

I miss the times where devs could make shooters suitable for children, like the Bond-game mentioned above. They had a certain charm. But today, especially in america, everything is offensive and unethical

With me it was more like

2008-2010: PC

2010-2012: Xbox 360

2012 to present: PC

A proper internet connection and being introduced to Steam changed it all

2006 - 2010 because of Oblivion, Neverwinter Nights 2, Mirror's Edge, Mass Effect, Alpha Protocol, Persona 4 and SoulCalibur 4

2012 simply because of Mass Effect 3
