@esfuerzo31 Newsflash numbnuts (and this goes to EVERYONE complaining about the ending of Mass Effect 3); you cannot, I repeat, CANNOT, choose if Shepard lives or dies in Mass Effect 2. You can ONLY choose between the endings that Bioware ALLOWED in the game. The fact that Shepard lives or dies in these is non-consequential. Bioware has always let the player choose between a variety of options that THEY SEE FIT to be in the game. Mass Effect 3 was no different. But apparently (and unfortunately) the majority of the Mass Effect community are whiny little girls who started wetting the bed when they found out their big muscley Captain Shepard didn't make it out alive. Christ on a bike. Grow up ladies.
Shepard dying in Mass Effect 2 was a possibility and noone complained about him being in Mass Effect 3, did they? Anyway, I'm actually going to go on holiday to Italy some time this year and I might go see the Sistine Chapel. And by God, I tell you now; if I don't like what I see there I am going to DEMAND that they paint over what IS there with a fluorescent mural of Optimus Prime battling a horde of zombie care bears. IN SPACE.
There's only one thing about this article that bothers me and it has nothing to do with transgender opinion or politics... ...it's Americans using the term "COULD CARE LESS". That doesn't make ANY sense! IF YOU "COULD CARE LESS", that means that you DO CARE to a certain degree and, therefore, are in the position to CARE LESS. Saying you COULD CARE LESS gives NO indication about HOW you feel about something. What you mean to say is "COULDN'T care less". By stating you "COULDN'T care less" you are stating you do not care about something at all and PHYSICALLY CANNOT care any less about a subject. The phrase is "COULDN'T CARE LESS" damn it! For the love of God, your native language is English. Try to learn it and use it properly!
On-Disc Downloadable Content...paradox much? That is why we're mad. The author of the article is completely missing the point. If a game developer has developed the content in time to put it on the disc then it should be free to play when you buy the frigging disc. This "unlocking what's already on the disc" crap is just game developers abusing the Online Store model. What next; you buy a game and you have to "buy to unlock" the final boss battle? You, and many others, will say "No, I can't see that happening" because what is and isn't unreasonable DLC is entirely down to opinion. Well guess what; I'm a consumer. WE'RE consumers. And it is OUR opinion that On Disc DLC IS unreasonable. This article is fundamentally depressing and has completely lowered my opinion of Gamespot. We shouldn't speak out against the unfair of practise of On Disc DLC because, if we did, game developers would just screw us more? Jesus Christ, give me a break...
If you were born a man, you are a man and will always be a man. That's life. However, I don't understand (and will never pretend to understand) why it matters. I don't care if someone's a man, a woman or either of these genders trying to act like the other. I just care if someone's a cool person who I can get along with. Nothing else matters to me.
I think it would've been pretty cheap if I got to choose the ending. What's the point of that? It's the final game of the series, I want to know that what happens in the end is definitive and something I can marvel at. I don't want to know that "my" ending is one of many possibilities. Then "my" ending would feel pointless.
@chrisangelo2k7 You're just another moron happy to rag on religions because of the bad they do in the present day. Have you studied anthropology and the effect that religion had on the world over these past few thousand years? Religons established a code of morales and ethics on a world that could have chosen to be anarchist. I completely agree that religion is outdated in the present day but for you to say that religion is the only entity critical of homosexuality is utterly incorrect. I know of plenty of chumps and guys that overcompensate that hate homosexuality but aren't religious at all. At least religious people have a reason for disliking religion, as wrong as it is, and that is that it goes against their long established practises. Non-religious people who rag on homosexuals for no reason are the truly poisonous people.
I have never played an iOS game for more than 2 hours. They are of poor quality and can only hold your attention for a short amount of time. Quite a few times now I have been on a plane or a train journey, sitting opposite some guy who is playing on his PSP having a great time. Hell, I've even been jealous of 12 year olds and their 3DS sitting there, gleefully hammering away on their portable console whilst I browse the Android Market Place/ App store looking for something remotely interesting to pass the next 20 minutes. iOS and Android apps are not games. They are a waste of time for when you have nothing better to do whilst travelling. PSP's and 3DS's are for actual fun. A lot of people play them at home when they're in front of the TV with their family. There's a lot of life left in them yet.
