Sony has pretty much adandoned the backwards compatability. For what? Who knows? They got rid of that but didn't really offer anything in its place.

I think its pointless to make such a prediction, so I'm not going to bother.

If you keep your xbox in an open space, you will be more than fine. The xboxs that break are cause of people who put them in cabinets and they overheat. All X360s now have the falcon motherboard which runs cooler so you'll be fine with either the pro or elite. I recommend pro if you dont have an hdtv, elite if you doshadow8585

Yea, Microsoft said there was a problem and extended their warranty because people don't keep them in an open space.... WRONG!!!! Are you serious??? Did you even read any of the news when that stuff started happening?

I'm with the first two posts here. Definitely want a standard communication feature and 1 unified way to send game invitations. Basically the same things that the 360 has right now.

I would not suggest buying a 360 just to play Halo 3. Its really not that great, but there are lots of other games to play as well.

I agree, Home is such a waste of time and resources. Resources that could be utilized to provide a better service and more features that the PS3 is clearly lacking.

I use the Linksys WRT330N Gaming Router. Works great with my PS3 and Xbox 360. Kind of expensive, but the one you have now should work perfectly fine for you.
