advertising games in the philippines is not allowed

i cant really say that i only follow what is popular, my mind was already set and ready for the Nintendo ds even before it was released.

yeah so i live in the Philippines a 3rd world country so...

Funny i am the ONLY ONE that i know that has a DS in my entire school(UST)

Feels like I'm carrying a bomb or something and everyone seems to look at me and say in their mind "look at that guy and what is that thing he is carrying?"

but hey one of my friends bought one and he will get it in July and that would be the first time i will experience local wireless gaming

This to those people at my school that has a psp and doesn't even know anything about the Nintendo DS

"I play games and not just by watching pretty graphics unless its DOA"

Just this morning some guy playing with his psp saw me while playing my Nintendo DS, a few minutes later a friend of the guy with psp saw me and asked his friend what i was playing.

he answered its "its a sega handheld something..."

Sadly Philippines is a horrible place for gamers and so i decided that i will not die here in my country.

on the mario hoops yes it feels like your just playing alone

and for the pokemon for me its not that dissapointing since it has wifi

you dont need to grind your way up to 100 just to battle other people

you only need to grind up to level 50.

the game automaticaly change your level depending on the rules you made before battling

and its alot easier to get every pokemon since you have the GTS and wi-fi.

GTS is where you put your pokemon like an auction, put what you want and wait for someone to trade it. GTS will automaticaly trade your pokemon to other people even if you have your DS turned off.

So heres what i currently play right now

Fighting:

Bleach Ds 2nd

Jump ultimate stars

Detective/puzzle:

Hotel dusk room 215

Pheonix wright

RPG/Adventure:

Pokemon diamond and i also have pearl

Etrian Odyssey

Final Fantasy chocobo tales

Sports:

Mario hoops 3on 3

Other fun games:

Cooking mama

Electroplankton

----------------------

Im going to sleep now since im already tired

i hope i somehow helped you

more reviews is better!

nah... i have played ghost recon jungle storm in the n-gage, and based on ur opinion, i felt the same way u did. and i miss mario a lot now, i used to have super nintendo, but we gave it to our relatives bcuz i have ps1 then, seeing nsmb again makes me cry, ya really. i remember the days when me and my dad play it together, and he beat the crap out of bowser, maybe buying nsmb will bring again our close bond....sigh*

if you will play mario try checking the other mario games first because after you finish NSMB and if you dont have someone to play with then thats it.

i finished NSMB in just week and played every mini game it has, it also gets repetitive.

the game has a small amount of secrets anyway to keep you busy.

NSMB has a small amount of replay value without multiplayer

I played brothers in arms DS

The graphics is great but the game becomes too repetitive

You have some AI ally that will help you during missions but they are pretty useless.

sometimes you see them exchanging fire with the enemy but they are taking too long to even kill a single enemy soldier so its just like they are there to pretend that your not alone and you will end up killing almost everything yourself.

The funny stuff is in some cases they are already close to the enemy and they could just walk a few steps and slash the enemy, but no they insist on firing and wasting an unlimited amount of bullets and still not killing the enemy fast.

Later you will hear them I dont have bullets left bring me some! even though its unlimited...

you do all the stuff anyway, sometimes they will say that they give you a covering fire but they really dont do it.

I feel like im the only enemy that the enemy soldiers can see, because when i engage in a battle with my so called brothers i notice that all bullets, grenade, machinegun post even tanks fire ONLY at me.

I'm bleeding to death and no one even care to drag me out of the mess.

Its more like a medal of honor game, a one man army. You dont even command your team to charge the enemy like the one in the pc so its a shame.

I get to drive tanks and a small jeep but its not enough to make the game more fun.

I cant play multiplayer since i dont have anyone here in my place that has a ds so maybe this game is like metroid prime, good in multiplayer only and single player is meh..

atleast IMO the single player of this game is far better than metroid.

But hey this is just my opinion maybe i just have a really high expectation for this game since the pc version is really great.

im not saying that this game is bad, what im trying to say is this game is great but they could make it alot better.
