You picked the noun definition and I picked the verb definition. And though you used it as a noun, it is commonly the verb meaning that is negatively associated with gimmick.
@obsequies So when did I say dual 6gb video card means nothing to me. Please quote me. And you have turned this into a Mac better for gaming argument into a Mac vs PC argument. Who's the child here? Oh, you who claim to be so technologically superior should also know you don't need 6GB dual vid cards to max out the settings of and detail of the games currently available.
@Greyskin1 Catering mainly to kids is a great business idea, after all, there are always going to be more and more kids. But the problem is there is a ton of competition. More kids are preferring tablets and phones over Nintendo. My nephew was so into the Wii, but then after a period of time, when I asked him how come he wasn't playing the Wii, he said he preferred the tablet.
Nintendo should aspire to be like Disney. Disney has a lot of kids stuff but at the same time has great movies for people of all ages.
@obsequies @dtshakuras They are certainly more expensive but not better. End of story? Hardly. Nah, I prefer to stay right here. Haha, you must have great magical abilities to know my age to call me a kid.
@obsequies @dtshakuras Again, you bring up open hardware when I never mentioned open hardware once, are you having visions? And where did I say Mac can't run windows well? Hmm, again you should see a doctor for your eye problems.
@Vegamyster Gimmick does mean something bad. Then your original comment should have chosen a different word instead of a gimmick. For the matter, while I do think some of the things Big N does is a gimmick, I don't think its all gimmick, and think some of it is definitely innovation and new ideas. But when you say gimmick, it just puts a bad connotation on everything.
@obsequies @dtshakuras No I don't get it, please continue to explain. I enjoy you getting worked up explaining it. So charming. So your saying at the end of the day, regardless how superior and expensive the Mac hardware at the end of the day is, it still has to run a "budget platform" game. So ironic isn't it?
@obsequies @dtshakuras Continue to insult, please do. When did I bring up sales again? Hmm, I must be having amnesia. I'm stating a fact, Win gaming > OSX gaming. You may not like it, but you know its true and that's why you admit you got to run Win to game.
