Weak sauce

I've been getting other achievements like winning your first match online and sustain top speed for 5 seconds.

The first skate game **** me as well! It locked the "own every spot" achievement. It never did pop up. Screw it all. I dont like Skate 2 anyway. It's waaaay more glitchy than the first. The camera seems more close to your ass also. It was already bad. Now it's worse? Hmmm

Is anyone else having this problem? This is not looking good. Ok so i started a career and i'm past the tutorial section. I've even killed some spots and completed in a death race. Well some of those easy achievements are not popping up. Like get off your board in career mode/Move your first object in career mode/Win a death race in career mode.

Does anybody know why i'm not getting these achievements?

I would like think so. I'm really not sure how it all works and I think the only people who really do know is the gamefly employees. I'm pretty sure that since i'm in alaska that i'm on the low priority list because it'll take longer to ship it here and for me to ship it out when i'm finished, so they'll be without the game longer.

I really want to play this game. I'm just waiting for it to drop down in price

I'm least proud of ATTEMPTING to get the "find all hidden packages" in GTA4. After following a map online I managed to get all of them except for 2. I really wanted to stomp on my xbox, but c'mon....who's the idiot here?

I would definitely have to say Skate for it's intense replay value. I can play that game for the next 20 years. Well until Skate 2 comes out of course.

Funny cause i dont even skate myself, but i do love the game play

I put in a silly bid for $1 on ebay for this game and i won. It was just the disc without a case or a manual.

So this really makes me wonder if anybody plays this game online? Or does it even matter? Can i still play through some sort of story?

I agree with a couple of you here. The walking controls when you get off the skateboard, is bad, REALLY bad. Also, I agree that the camera is still too close to the skater. I thought that would be fixed in the sequal. Guess not. The graphix do look better and they have a whole sleugh of new moves which is nice.

I like how you CANT boost your score by doing nolie laser 180 to manual to nolie laser 180 to manual right before a spot. It makes it a lot more fair and real to everyone playing. Not saying I never did that because of course i did. That's the only way you'd win.

The new bone crushing type competition seems like it'll be a fun one to play online as well.

Overall opinion, not all that impressed
