@johnnyboy787: Fun, guess not for me. Its popular because in its core its very simplistic as a game. It has competitive nature which seems to draw younger generation (born since some 2000) and i know many people who only play Cod, no other game or very rarelly, cause CoD consumes time and in some cases life, same as any other run and gun, including battle royale which i also dont like but it does involve a bit more skill than run and gun.

Add to that people have short attention span for anything with depth or that involves deeper thinking. No one can make anything better, do you mean that as in online run and gun or fps in general. If you think as fps in general there are tons upon tons of awesome single player fps waaay better than CoD.

Hey you got your taste, i just dont care about amount of kills, rankings etc, nothing a huge fan of young teens and kids yelling into headsets haha

@johnnyboy787: Its not fun, masses just have no artistic taste in games :), dont see much in running and gunning and people yelling into headsets, mainly kids haha. Activision is falling fast anyways, crash looks likely

@sodapoppimpski: True but it still doesnt help Xbox somewhat exclusives (also on PC) to even come close to PS exclusives. thats what counts, maybe they dont need anymore studios haha

@nikon133: But many have more than one way of tackling the mission regardless of outcome. It needs that. Im enjoying it as well

@nikon133: Thats a lot of effort typing, respect but i was talking about the very outdated game design and very scripted mission paths. The open world is great and game looks stunning, but thats a different story

@uchihasilver: Missions are so follow the yellow line, its a very scripted approach which spoils the otherwise great open world. Bad design from Rockstar, game design hasnt changed since GTA 3

As much as RDR 2 is great the Rockstar open world game structure and mission approach hasnt changed since GTA 3 and its a big draw back. Missions are so follow the yellow line, its a very scripted approach which spoils the otherwise great open world. Bad design.

Also notice that is so much fun to explore without map marker or map display on screen, makes exploration fun, but in missions its a pain, if you have to place something in a secluded spot it cant be just any secluded spot, it has to be where its marked yellow on the map and the only way to find the exact spot is to open up the in game map, annoying.

Camp system is pointless overall, it makes no difference in any way to the game or story, you can behave like a total dick*ead and the story just keeps moving along. And it was supposed to tie in with so many side activities to support the camp but if you dont support it it makes no difference to the game.
