if someone told me to use even a 7 year old PC to do something as simple as word processing or surfing the web, I'd say, "thanks, but no thanks" ... so MS saying they think it's a good idea to keep a 'NON-upgradable' gaming console for 10 years when there will be a Steam Machine that I can own and update and play PC beautiful games on my big screen, I think they need to get some sleep and then have someone explain to them just how quickly specs for new PC games can jump up.

Consoles have been holding back PC gaming this past gen, and now that we are past that nonsense and Valve doesn't have to rely on what MS or anyone else does, I think we will see a huge jump in gaming tech this go around.

I'm a console guy too, but they HAVE HELD BACK THE INDUSTRY LONG ENOUGH... 10 years... please.

God will NEVER forgive him for corrupting the last group of innocent human beings on the earth.

Maybe he could go to a starving village in Africa next and ask the little children with the swollen bellies if they would like to smell his breath after eating at his favorite 5 star NYC restaurant ... maybe he could pass around his crumb filled napkin so at least one kid could get a months worth of much needed nutrients

Well, I for one hope they at least continue to offer a premium model for a few extra bucks. You can't tell me that an LCD screen is as clear as an OLED ... cheaper, yes ... but that's about it.

I'm not even a handheld guy, but the vita is beautiful to look at, off or on. Please don't cheapen it up Sony.

for many of us older gamers here that have actually lived through the inception of the video game to gaming in 2013, each console generation brings with it huge jumps of improvments, whether it be in front of the camera or behind the scenes... I truely believe that this generation will bring some giant and innovative steps forward in the way actors performances are captured and the level of interactivity between us gamers and the characters we control.

Even the best games out there now don't have but a handful of facial reactions to a given situation, and believe it or not it was a fairly cheap to make game like, Telltale's "The Walking Dead" that opened a new road in the way we can inject new life into charactors reactions and probably played with the emotions of, and made more gamers cry than all other games combined up to that point .... that's huge. I know from talking to people in the industry that the game really shook up alot of devs behind the scenes at what can be acomplished with far less money than traditional AAA games, causing many to rethink and take a hard look at how they are approaching interaction between charactors, and for the first time in a long time not playing it 100% safe, and thinking outside the box. That's what great about making smaller games like "The Walking Dead" ... there is much more room for experimentation, and recieving and using feedback from the gamers between episodes ... brilliant!

Let's not make this into a 'how realistic is this guys teeth' argument because graphics will always be getting better with each passing year ( here's to finally getting realistic hair on the back of the neck) lol ...

We should be making this into a conversation about conveying emotion in gaming, and finding new and unused ways to tap into that powerful new frontier in the generation to come. And we shouldn't be making this into a vanity project for these actors who are pissed that their performance wasn't captured at the right angle. That's more about who is directing the project.

why do these hosts feel they have to inject a joke after everything the guest says? this is a mature title, why interview a guest like your trying to get laughs out of a room of 12 year olds?

@Warful

Oh for the love of God ...

David Hayter is AWFUL. There, I said it. If you put his acting in an action/thiller on the big screen, ... wait, it wouldn't make the big screen. It would be a crappy SyFy CGI grade 'D' low budget movie, probably with Stephen Baldwin and C Thomas Howell.

Part of the problem with MGS games is the crappy Japanese to English wordy translations compounded by 3rd rate voice acting.

You fix those things and you with truely have games that stand the test of time that don't make you cringe when someone, especially the lead opens his mouth.

Which are all great scores BTW. When things start dipping below 7, then you have to worry.... also RE6 got a what, 4.5? I didn't think the game was that bad at all... it's just not the RE I want or was hoping for.

@Giygas07

RE has NOTHING to do with 'horror' anymore, and that's a shame. There are no games at the moment that are 'horror' games... they might borrow horror elements, but that's it.. Remember, 'horror' doesn't necessarily mean action or shooting, gore, or multiplayer, it means being scared about what will happen next.... they have done just about everything wrong the last few games, from sound to adding co-op to the last 2 games. RE is and should be a single player experience, and if they want to add co-op or MP, they should be different stand alone games...
