But i believe it will accually uses 65-70% of the total cell processing power.. After the multiplayer patch. It could have been in the game, but GG has used thier entire time to perfect the single player offline and online experience that they need more time to implement the split screen. times up, they have to release it by the end of feb. Meaning split screen has to be in the form of a patch. Accually, split screen was being shown off some time in early 2008. It just wasnt implemented into the game yet.

So what common sense? I just said, Killzone 2 by itself take up around 60% of CPU power. And most prob a 10% increase with that patch...75-80% at uttmost MAX. seeing as how much close support GG has gotten from Sony and sonys empire of 1st party devs...to tweak this game to GG's limits.

And yes, the final code will support native 1080p/i which means native 720 and everything else under it..

you PC gamers seem to push the fact that you are all, as people call them... 'graphics whores'. Where you go up to the screen to perfectly see the AA and AF in action and look at every single bit of fine detail..and worship every bit of technical specs on paper.

I dont care about that. As long as the gfx are good ENOUGH, in MGS4's and all other ps3 exclusive's case and many well coded multiplats for the PS3... enoughly awsome in this generation for our likings esp with the fact that our faces are not right in front of the monitor, we sit around 3 to 4 meters from the screen. And so in the end, the diffrences are incremental. Also another fact is Killzone 2 is using 60% of the ps3's power.

And about PC's line up...Starcraft 2..and Dawn of war 40k 2. I have a feeling that SC2 will never catch on to the leet south koreans who play starcraft 1 as a national sport. And DoW 2...i guess thatll be good. But Old RTS's still destory RTS's for PC these days.

its such a mute point that pc is far supperior then any console. i think its time for the argument to die and for the console fanboys to stop their fruitless battle and constant self ownage, and for them to just ececpt that pc is the far supperior gaming platform and where the hardcore of the hardcore come to play. some of the exsamples why pc>>>>>console are

1. for 600-700$ you can get a pc a whole gen ahead of the current consoles that can do a million more things then any of the current gen consoles. and that 600 dollar investment will be a good one because you will only have to worry about 200$ upgrades every 4-5 years or so, this means you end up saving money in the long run, instead of paying 400-500 dollars every 4-5 years your only spending 200 dollars every 4-5 years. plus the free online saves you bundles in the long run

The ps2 was made in the geforce 2 era, yet in 2005/2006 in the end in the reign of the 6th generation games like metal gear solid 3 was just like..wow..

All at low settings. 4-5years is a laugh. Especially how fast tech evolves these days. New CPU=New mobo=new ram=new gfx card to make it worth while=new Power supply. $200? Hell. No.....My computers age..3years. As new CPU's come out, new CPU sockets are also made and new types of ram is needed and boards with the ability to support the much larger bandwidth gfx cards these days needs with much better chipsets, also a power supply upgrade. Its not a small $200 upgrade, i have to rebuild my computer.

3. First person shooters seem to be the way games are heading and nothing handles first person controls better then a mouse and keyboard

maybe a mouse it more presice than joysticks but a controller on the couch with surround sound and a 46 inch LCD is just..better. And there is MULTIPLAYER.

And many hermits seem to think that joysticks hav no presicion at all, mainly cos u all have noob hands/thumbs. I find it very easy to aim with sticks.

Other than FPS's and RTS's,a controller destroys keyboard/mouse at anything else.

4. MODS MODS MODS. for exsample i have about 9 extra gigs dedicated to oblivion mods which adds 100s of hours of extra game play thats not avalible to the console versions. user created maps! thats another thing theres still only about 10 or so TF2 maps for the consoles where theres a magnitude of them on pc now,it just makes more of your 40$ dollar game purchase which brings me to my next point

And also why would you want to play another 100hrs of oblivion? that game got old after 50 hrs of play/ after i finished the story.

Most multiplats are played at 720p and can be upscaled. Alot of ps3 exclusives are native 1080p like MGS4, KZ2, Wipeout HD (have u seen wipeoutHD on a 1080 screen yet? No? well ull drool), Granturismo 5, and more to come.

Also, Consoles just have more popular, AAAE and AAAAE games..... Ever since the days of the playstation one... cept for those games like WoW(hate it) and War3 and starcraft, counterstrike etc which people for some reason dont stop playing and somehow find non existant fun left in those games. How long does it take for it to get old?. Old games are damn good but u cant keep playing its 24/7 forever.
